“If I told the guys I was gay back then, they would have put a crimp in my style. I was able to fly under the radar because most of their attention was on Jase and his situation. Jase needed their care and support. I didn’t.” But I’ll need your help if I do tell them. I need you more than you’ll ever know.

“See, we both had our reasons. However, it’s time for you to fess up. As I said before, if your parents accepted Jason, they’ll accept you.” Keith was practical. Keith is probably right. I should fess up. Maybe I will if he’s standing beside me.

“But that would mean Jason and Zach would know we’re fuck buddies. Jason would be dogging your steps about your intentions.” Exactly what are your intentions? Do we remain fuck buddies forever or is there something more in the offing.

“I don’t think he would. I think both Zach and Jason would leave us free to find our way.”
