Turns out, after seeing everyone, including the last person, the protagonist, Isagi, arriving in the room, the only difference from my reality now and the canon was that instead of the monk guy being number 300, I was.
This wasn't really surprising though, as I had calculated exactly how well I had to perform in high school to be situated at this rank, and well, it seems like Ayanokouji's brain really was a cheat item after all.
And then, as soon as Isagi finished putting on his suit, we began.
As to not bore you, I'll explain the rules in a shortened form.
"With no hands, play a game of tag with the ball as the tool for tagging."
Of course, as I was ranked the lowest, I would start first with the ball.
And, as soon as I was in possession of the ball...
...I didn't do anything with it, as I just kept it under my foot.
Seeing this, every body was confused and wary, expecting me to bust out something, but nobody spoke up against this, as they would all benefit if I was the one sent home instead of them being sent home.
As for me, I just stared up, unhurried, at the clock, as I watched the timer tick
down
and
down
and
down...
Until finally...
...5 seconds were left.
Finally, I moved, faster than most of them could see.
"Bon!"
"Dun." (A/N: Taken directly from the manga, I have no idea what they mean though.)
In then end, I stayed, Ryosuke left, and everybody felt a little bit overwhelmed.
Including me.
