The workout with Bachira yesterday lasted longer than Sho expected and he ended up only getting 5 hours of sleep. So after Sho got home from school around 3:30 pm, he decided to take a quick nap.
Sho slowly opened his eyes in his room, he sat up and looked towards his alarm. It read 4:35 pm. A sigh of relief left his mouth since he woke before his alarm. Sho had a practice match with Kuoh Shogakko today around 6:00 pm. Since it was only 4:35 pm Sho went right back to sleep.
An alarm blared continuously for what seemed like 30 minutes. Sho had finally awoken from his nap only to find out that it was 6:30 pm. Sho hurriedly got his clothes on, put all his gear into his backpack and opened the door from his room.
Yoruichi was drying clothes a few feet (meters) from his doorstep. She was humming one of her favorite songs and took no notice of Sho when he was looking at her. Quickly running past her, all the while telling her why he was in a rush.
In the chilly night weather, Sho was running at a quick but steady pace towards the field. Rounding the corner, Sho could hear the yelling of his teammates, and see the bright field lights in the distance.
Sho secretly made his way onto his team's bench. He noticed that the eyes of his coach and most of his teammates were fixed on him. But he acknowledged the fact that he was late and found an unoccupied spot to sit. Before he could put all his gear on, the halftime whistle was blown. Sho looked up from his bag only to see his teammates walking back to the bench with dejected expressions on their faces.
Coach: "It's alright everyone. Let's regroup and go over our plan of attack. But before we do this, let's all look towards Sho and see what excuse he'll give us for why he's late."
Sho: "I kind of slept in"
With amused faces, everyone except the coach started to chuckle. It seemed to lighten the mood so the coach put Sho into the last half of the practice game.
Walking onto the pitch, Sho looked towards the small scoreboard and it was 2-2. Both Suruga F.C. and Kuoh tied. Sho didn't get a chance to talk to Bachira but as soon as their eyes met, they knew what they had to do.
With everyone in position, the match was ready to commence. Kuoh Shogakko's goalkeeper threw it in towards their midfielder. Sho calmly assessed everything on the field, and leisurely went towards the center of the field. Chaos ensued as soon as Kuoh's midfielder crossed into the other half of the field. Bachira quickly rushed towards the midfielder which caused the midfielder to panic. The midfielder sluggishly kicked the ball diagonally across the pitch, away from Bachira.
It's almost as if everything was going the way Sho saw it. He read into the field's future and repositioned him to take the ball back. As soon as Kuoh's fullback got the ball from his teammate, he immediately kicked it down the field in hopes of it reaching his teammate that was down the field. Unfortunately it didn't reach its mark, instead it hit Sho's right foot.
Sho started to run with the ball down the pitch. In his corner of Sho's peripherals he quickly saw Bachira running down the left side of the field, and with no hesitation he kicked the ball right to Bachira. Now with everyone's eyes on Bachira, Sho stealthily ran past everyone, towards the right of the goal. Only 2 people noticed Sho near the goal, Bachira and Kuoh's goalkeeper. As soon as Kuoh's goalkeeper started to yell for help, Bachira kicked it above everybody's head. Half of the players on the pitch had their hearts sink into their stomachs, while the other half smiled and had excitement glistening off their eyes at the very same time. All of their eyes laid onto Sho, as he jumped up and headbutted the ball right into the goal.
Cheers erupted from the benches.
Bachira didn't celebrate alone but ran up to Sho and pulled him into a tight hug, and excitingly said
Bachira: "That was awesome, let's go. I knew you'd be able to reach it.
Before Sho could respond to Bachira, all of their teammates rushed towards them and jumped on top of them. Sho's lips curled into a bright smile as he experienced all of this for the first time. He wasn't even sure how he stealthily got past all of Kuoh's players without being detected.
Coach: "It's all good to celebrate just not so rough boys. We still have 12 seconds on the clock so get ready."
Sho wasn't all that worried about his teammates throwing him around a little. As everyone heard what the coach had to say, they all began to calm down and get into position to win the game. With everyone in position, the game was ready to continue. Kuoh's goalkeeper threw the ball in as far as he could wished for the best. The ball landed right next to Kuoh's striker, right in the center of the field. Kuoh's striker ran as fast as he could with the ball down the field but was quickly stopped by Bachira. Looking towards the timer it read 5 seconds. As Kuoh's striker's determination began diminishing he swung for the fences. He kicked it as hard as he could towards the goal but unfortunately kicked it too far right of the goal.
The game clock rang as the game finished 3-2 in favor of Suruga F.C.

I've said it multiple times but just in case your stupid
Shogakko means (Elementary or Primary School)
i think i did a lot better this time around. Ill still trying to figure out how to do timeskip at a good point in the story. These last 2 timeskips seemed forced in my opinion.
The reason why I did these timeskips is because this is suppose to be a Blue Lock fic and were no where near Blue Lock. I haven't been getting any hate which is surpiring so I'll just go with the flow and sprikle in a few timeskips here and there to get us closer to Blue Lock
n for anyone that has been reading this chapter by chapter, you might have noticed that the training camp is now called Suruga FC. I hated calling it training camp constantly so yeah basically its a football club now
