CHAPTER 12

In the mall, Joe some clothes mainly of the colour blue and silver with matching shoes to go with the clothes. He saw many other things that he liked but thought of saving up his money. He had 54000 credits with him at the moment when he saw a pair of katanas for sale at 40000 credits.

That amount was more than half of his money and normally he wouldn't buy it but he didn't know why but he was being drawn to the katanas. He went into the store that offered it for sale and purchased it with the straps.

When he held it in his hand, he could feel power going through him. He strapped them unto his back in an x form because at the moment, his portal store was already at its limit. He also thought of selling the sword in his portal store so as to make back the money he lost.

He walked up to the entrance of the mall to see his friends waiting for him. As they saw him, Simon called a cab and they all got into it heading back to the school.

On their way, they saw a rider race for charity. "This might be a good chance to test out my new ability" Martin said as he made the cab c=stop and got down from the cab with Cisco who also saw the race. "We'll meet in school" Cisco said to his friends as the cab drove off.

They both registered with 10 credits each and were directed to the starting line. A man came to the side of the starting line with a small plasma pistol raised in the air.

"On your mark..." he said as the riders readied their abilities.

"Get set….." he said as they all took running positions "Go" he finally said as he shot plasma into the air signalling the start of the race.

The race started with Cisco in the lead and Martin following close behind but at the starting point, a particular contestant had not yet started the race.

Martin created two heavy gravity discs and threw it at two girls behind him removing them from the race. Since it was a rider race, any form of ability was allowed.
