"Huh, take me to her room, will you? I left something of mine, which I must get urgently," Khennan said with a friendly smile.
With a nod, the housekeeper obliged and led her inside.
The men remained outside waiting when Ario arrived, speeding in his car.
"Holy crap!" Edd exclaimed.
"What is it?" Jevaun asked.
"It's Mr. Ario's car, and it's him driving!" Edd said. "Let me talk to him first; he trusts me."
"Go ahead," Jevaun agreed.
"What do you think, Andrew?"
"I just don't trust that man, that's all."

"This is her room, Miss," the housekeeper said, leading Khennan inside. Khennan pretended she had been in the room before, saying, "Ah, of course, I thought she changed it after the wedding." She smiled, trying to maintain her composure.
As the door cracked open, the air smelled odd, and it was pitch black inside. Khennan reached for the curtains to draw them, and when she turned, she was startled by the figure before her.
