Episode 12

Mr Philips came home later in the evening from work. The whole family was seated in the living room. I had joined them since they now considered me as family. Mrs Philips decided to introduce her husband and I, after we finished having dinner.

"So, honey, this is Daniel. He is the boy Elizabeth, my friend, was telling us about. I told you about him, remember?" she said.

"Yes, I remember. Young man, how are you?" the older man asked.

"I am fine, sir."

"Well, I hope you are enjoying your stay here. My family and I are very happy to have you here. We are peaceful and loving so I am sure you will fit in just fine," Mr Philips said.

" Yes sir, I can see that. And I am also going to do my best to make sure the peace in this house continues."

"I am glad to hear that. Anyway, I don't know why. But, you do remind me of someone. You look exactly like him."

"Really?"

"Yes. Honey, look at him and tell me who he reminds you of?" he asked his wife.
