2.12 Spendthrift/Setting Out

Scarlett was unaware of all of this. She had already gone to Lord Quinn's place and completed her quest which brought her level to 26. After placing her free attribute points, she went to her house inside the town and called everyone in the Mercenary Group.

The first on to arrive was Athena and right after her was Blade Dance and Silent Night.

"What's up?" Blade Dance asked. Athena and Silent Night also were curious.

"I'll explain when everyone gets here." Even though curiosity was killing them, they could do nothing but wait for everyone else.

Around 5 minutes later, everyone else showed up as a group. Storm was the first to speak. "How are the spoils of war?" Storm asked mischievously.

BloodMoon smiled and took out some of the most stuff. In this was an growth type ice elemental bow.

Elemental Bow (Ice) [Silver - Epic] Lvl 25 - 100

...

It was a bow with a fast draw time, medium damage, and low weight bow. Athena loved the bow and was allowed to take it. When she checked its stats, she saw that it could be further upgraded with Ice crystals.

"I also recieved all of their guilds gold which amounted to... 500,000 gold. Everyone take 5,000 for now and keep it on you for repairs. Make sure you buy potions and anything else you need. We will be going out in a little while." BloodMoon handed everyone 5000 gold and everyone felt like their leader was a spend thrift.

"What, is it a quest?" Cecilia and Blade Dance's eyes lit up.

Scarlett nodded and flipped her palm over and a broken ring appeared in her hand. She showed its description to the group.

The Ring Of Primal Chaos [Legendary Quest Item]

You have acquired a piece of the Primal Chaos Set. Go vist the Moon God Observatory is Stargaze City. Bella the Director of the Observatory should be able to help you.

"Is this real?" Tyrant was having trouble believing what he had just seen. He decided to slap Storm to test. He grabbed him by the shoulders and delivered a loud and crisp slap to his face.

CLAP!

A red mark appeared on his face as he screamed.

"It fucking real you idiot. Why the hell did you have to slap me?" Storm was very aggrieved.

"Your face is very slappable. Sorry." After looking at Tyrant's sincere expression when he said this, he wanted to vomit blood. Everyone laughed and was excited but Scarlett poured cold water on them before they got too happy.

"This is a Legendary Quest are most likely not easy and it will take a long time to complete. We are gonna hold off on doing this for now. I have another thing for us." Saying this, she took out a rolled up piece of paper. She spread it out on the table and everyone looked at it. On the top of the paper said the words Thunder Valley

"Treasure Map? But this place isn't on our continent but on the Western Continent, The Americas Playzone." Tyrant looked at Scarlett with some confusion but he then thought of something and was startled. He began to breath heavily through his nose. "You have... one of those?" Everyone backed away from him except Scarlett. They looked at him oddly. Tyrant felt these piercing gazes but couldn't care less right now.

Scarlett saw how Tyrant was acting and her lips twitched. 'If I told him that he looked like a perverted uncle finally getting his clutches into the girl he fancied, would he cry?' She looked at tyrant with some exasperation and fliped her other palm. In her palm was a key that had a bunch of runes on it. It released so much mana that the floor began to crack.

"Continent Connecting Key!" Tyrant looked at BloodMoon like she was crazy.

[Continent Connecting Key] Sacred Item

Connects your continent to another of your choice. (Warning: Will alarm those in those continents!) Takes 15 minutes to open a portal

"So, are you ready to create chaos with me?" Tyrant isn't wrong. It takes a special kind of person to do this just for a quest.

"Of course... we won't be doing this today. We will spend a week power leveling. I will be taking us out to level in a few moments. Are there any questions before we head out. If not, we will head out in 10 minutes. Dismissed!" Not even giving them time to ask anything, Scarlett disappears from her house and leaves her group standing foolishly.

Scarlett is on her way to the Magic Item shop that is right across from the bar. This where a player can buy potions, scrolls and magic bombs. She came here for all of these items. She was reading a forum post about how good these scrolls and bombs were for leveling. The problem was that they cost what was a fortune to most players and even guilds.

"Oh its Miss Luminous Dancer, how can my humble shop help you today?" A bearded old man with blue mage robes was sitting at the counter when BloodMoon walked in.

"Good Evening Senior, this junior has things that I want to purchase today." Scarlett was taking the role playing very seriously. She doesn't notice but when everyone around her hears her, their lips twitched as they tried not to laugh at the, now very dangerous, BloodMoon. It seemed that everyone has forgotten that this was her very first rpg that she has played.

"Well, come in." Scarlett walked throught the shop and when she saw items that she needed like health and mana potions, she would buy alot of them as they were necessary.

After spending 10,000 gold on potions, Scarlett went up to the second floor. On this floor, there were scrolls and magic bombs. From the average offensive scroll to the very expensive magic bombs, every item was wortg their price.

1 common magic bomb was 15 silver while the most powerful epic magic bombs were 100 gold. In between these were the uncommon-dark gold magic bombs and the elemental magic bombs. There are legendary magic bombs but these are sadly lost in the history books as the blueprint has been lost in time.

Scarlett bought 100 epic magic bombs, 1,000 dark gold magic bombs, and 10,000 fine gold magic bombs. After buying these, she went to the magic scroll section for a specific scroll. This scroll was called the ThunderFire Wave scroll. This scroll came in 3 versions; fine-gold, dark gold, and epic. The epic scrolls were 200 gold, the dark gold scrolls were 100 gold and the fine gold versions were 50 gold.

Scarlett bought 200 epic scrolls, 500 dark gold scrolls, and 1000 fine gold scrolls.

When she was getting ready to purchase, she checked the total cost and felt like she was a spendthrift. It was a total of 285,000 gold. At any other time, she would feel like crying but because a certain somebody used her to get rid of an entire guild, she could spend money like drinking water.

After purchasing the equipment she also purchased some better inventory bags for everyone. Which cost another 15,000 gold.

Finally finished with her shopping, Scarlett called everyone to meet at the northern gate. When they all met up, Scarlett handed everyone 2 inventory bags.

"Tyrant, I read a forum post about power level and it said that magic bombs..." before she could say anything else..."Magic bombs! You are really spoiling us." Tyrant was smiling like a child with a new toy. "Can we see them?"

"Sure." Scarlett took out an epic magic bomb and this caused everyone's eyes to twitch. 'What a spendthrift!' To them, it looked like she was spending money because she could.

When Scarlett saw the stange look on their faces she thought it was because they had only seen one of the epic magic bombs. "This isn't all of them, I have 99 more epic magic bombs." As if these words weren't shocking people to death already, she sent them her current inventory and what they saw made them vomit blood.

"Uh, BloodMoon, are we power leveling or going to war?" Athena couldn't help but ask. Everyone else also wanted to know.

"Well... after we are done power leveling, there might be some chaos..." Scarlett shrugged her shoulders without a single care in the world.

Dragon Fault was very concerned. "10000 fine gold magic bombs! Just how much did you spend?"

Scarlett nonchalantly said. "300,000 gold. Just remember how generous I am and that'll be enough." She patted Dragon Fault on the shoulder and looked towards everyone else. "We should probably set off now. We have about 2 hours before midnight." Everyone nodded and Scarlett let Tyrant choose our destination.

After passing through a level 20-30 forest with relative ease, the temperature began to drop. "Tyrant, why is it so cold here?" Shirayuki asked.

"I don't know... This is kind of strange. Everyone be on guard." Tyrant vigilantly looked around. "Let's go over there. It'sabout time we log out for the night." He spotted a cave that was nearby and everyone went inside. After making sure it was safe, everyone said their goodbyes and logged off.

Scarlett got out and took a nice and long shower before going to bed.

Next chapter later on tonight, doing a bit of spring cleaning. Hope you guys enjoyed.
