Blood and Shadow; My F-rank Shadow Ability Has An Unlimited Skill Set

Following the world's greatest catastrophe, which nearly led to the apocalypse, the revelation of the ability to utilize magic was brought to light. With the globe entering a new era, an Academy specializing and entirely for ability users was established. At the academy, abilities are evaluated and ranked based on how they influence the world. Gleren, an F-rank student, covertly works for an organization that preserves global harmony and balance. A peace lover who would rather watch anime and play games than to do anything bothersome. But one day, with the arrival of Maria, the vampire princess, his peaceful life came crashing down. Maria the Last Vampire is a special existence for which she was constantly sought after. With danger always lurking about the Vampire Princess, Gleren Stasis—the F-ranked student at Saint Stella Academy—was tasked with protecting her at all costs without disclosing the truth about himself.

Chapter 74.5: Lev; The Newly Acquired Little Sister!

My battle is over, so I sat and tried to converse with the girl. Trying to recover my fatigue and all. I may not look it, but I'm delicate, see?

"So?" I eyed her curiously, she was now dressed if only for her upper body. I gave her my uniforms' jacket for her to wear. The girl was so weakened that she doesn't even have the mana to create a magical suit for herself to wear. Utterly hopeless, I name it. She's even tugging the hem of the jacket to fit her fully. I was tall enough to have her body over her thighs cover, just above her knees—but that was it.

"The name, spill it." I said, staring her down.

"Hmmph!" She averted her gaze, cheeks puffed. Clearly, she was sulking. "The name's Leviathan. The Demon who ruled over Envy!" I was surprised by the declaration, and apparently it showed on my face. I don't even know either to believe her or not. Now that she realized I was wide-eyed—which of course I should, 'cause ya know, that was the name of one of the great demons, isn't it? (Or so, Sofy told me) —she huffed and laughed haughtily,

"Nyahahahaha! That's right. I am Leviathan! A great demon! I am the demon of Envy!" With her declaration, I was awfully baffled! —not!

"Quit putting on brave upfront. You're not selling." I snorted as I shot her down.

"Huh? Oh, uh… right." Once she'd realized she cannot even back-up the way she's acting, she timidly nodded, tears apparent on the corner of her amethyst eyes. She looked as if a child being scolded by a parent.

"Anyway, where is this place?" I queried. I know this is inside the gate—but what was this called specifically? I want to know.

"You don't know?" Now it was her turn to be surprised, like genuinely surprised. Her face was saying as if, "Huh? Seriously?!" it annoyed me a little.

"I don't. That was why I am asking."

"That so?" She grinned. She's quite got the faculty to entertain. The fact that she would easily switch emotion based on her advantage—or disadvantage is amusing. I almost find it endearing.

"Out with it." I said, growing impatient.

"Fufufu. This is inside the wise king's gate." I know that, and that didn't help any of my braincells. But what she said next is what took me aback. "This is originally the demon realm. This place is my domain, see? I am the most powerful here!" She said passionately, arm raised and hand clenched, but she shifted her mood almost immediately, "though, I was the only one here. Ehehe." That's… just sad.

"By the way, where is your domain? I never expected a human would be held captive here! I was so surprised."

"Domain?" I tilted my head. What is she talking about?

"Yep. You ruled one, dontcha?" Don't 'dontcha' me, it's not fitting for your age.

"I don't rule—don't have any."

"What?! Even though you possess such strong demonic power?!" She was so shock that she stepped a little away from me. Demonic power? –oh, she dubbed Demonic Stone ability as demonic power. Interesting.

"I was searching for a girl. That's about it."

"Ah! I remember. You asked me that earlier." She grinned pearly.

"Oh? So, you do know where she was?" This is good.

"I don't." Now, this is bad… thin why act like you know something?!

"Anyway, I have decided! I will follow you! You're so strong! Big brother!" Wow. Now, that tugged the thread of my heart.

"Hey, say it again." I said leaping towards the girl. I held her hand then closed my face to her. I heard something upfront, but I ignored it.

"Eh" She cocked her head to the left, which is, I could tell you, very cute! But her expression was really confused.

"Call me big brother once again." my eyes lit. No, it sparkled!

"Huh?" She let out a cute stumped voice. Extremely mystified.

"Big brother?"

"Guh!"

"Bigbro."

"Urk!"

"Brother dearest."

"Kuh!" That last one hit critically!

Her little sister capability is very strong!

Whilst I was on my road on getting my second little sister, the space started to warp.

"M-my domain!" Lev (AKA; Leviathan) let out a voice in panic.

"Hmm?" I looked around. The distortion was quite slow—it whirls like a blackhole—though this time it was colored in a rainbow scheme.

"Huh?" I voiced involuntarily. Once the shift of the void ended, what entered my vision was a figure of an Angel. It floated to the air with its six pairs of wings spread wide. It glowed gold which was extremely out of proportion to this hellish place. It's hand held a sword, the other held shield. Under the floating divine existence was a mountain of demon corpses. It was filed, death upon challenging the angel, I would suppose.

I had a beauty that I haven't seen for a while—I know what it was. It was a seraph. Just like the ability my dearest sister possessed. But what really took my whole attention was the woman in the middle of the angel's chest—there she was, as if using the angel as her personal mobile suit—armor—or robot, you name it. Martha was there, determined expression she donned.

"Martha!"

I called. It's not like I'd forgotten about her over Lev, okay? If you think that, then you are gravely mistaken. My call went to deaf ears. I was not given attention.
