Chapter 1 *SHATTERED* Zelon Industries, Country G

"Mr Frederick could you please reconsider"? Kiara Begged with tears in her eyes.

"No Kiara ! My decision is final, you can take your time to pack your things, but make sure you leave before lunch. You're dismissed." He said sternly without sparing her a look.

Kiara turned her back to leave after giving a slight bow. With tears in her eyes, she left his office walking through the hallway, the secretaries murmured but that didn't go unheard by her.

She went back to her stall to pack her things before she left . She was shattered and confused, she went down the elevator and ran out the hallways only to hear the secretaries murmuring...

"She got what she deserved"

"Good for nothing imp"

"She's not even that pretty"

Kiara gave a sad chuckle she wasn't in the mood for their chatters , she had a much heavier weight which she needed to take care of . She needed her job for provisions. She walked out the door and took a bus home with the little money she had with her, she walked into her house and landed on her bed . She lived a small house with a room ,and a small kitchen ,with the living room ,and bathroom.

She was the youngest of 6 children. Kicked out of her family's mansion.

She snapped out of her thoughts to hear her phone ringing . She picked up her phone to see it was her friend Malaya who also works in Zelon industries.

"Hey Malaya" Kiara said in a sad tone

"Oh my Kiki I heard what happened ! how did you get fired? what happened?" Malaya asked worriedly.

"I don't know lay, I call summoned to Mr Fredrick's Office and here I am."

"Aww kiki I'm so sorry" said Malaya .

"Its cool anyways Why'd you call by the way ?"

Kiara asked puzzled.

"Oh yeah ! I wanted to hang out tomorrow, you know have a hangout with Ken".

"I don't know La-" Klara was immediately cut up by Malaya.

"No no no , I won't take no as an answer you're coming and that's it, plus I'll treat you to some ice cream to make you happy... huh what do you say?" Malaya said knowing that I've cream was Kiara's weakness.

"Lay...hmm..okay then tomorrow it is". Kiara said helplessly

"Yay! I'll be there by 9am , talk later."

"Okay .bye".

Kiara looked at the time , it was just 8:45pm

"I will keep moving forward" Kiara said tiredly oblivious to when she fell asleep.
