Chapter 1

A posh, shiny chevy came to a screeching halt in front of Lovelock High, a school for werewolves. The back door of the car was pushed open and two long legs wearing twelve inch high heels emerged, followed by fair hands with perfectly manicured nails.

Emilia was what you would call a high school diva. She drew attention wherever she went. With a perfect body and luscious hair she was every man's dream. She flipped her long golden hair as she put on a pair of cool shades. Everyone stopped doing their work as she walked through the ground. She looked gorgeous in her beige crop top and the maroon skirt that reached till right above her knees.

Moments later she was joined by Astia and Jenny; her BFF's cum top fans. Emilia threw her keys at a handsome boy standing in the aisle and said in a sweet voice, "Park my car, will you?"

The boy's jaws hung open as he caught the keys reflexively. He was completely blown off his feet. The most popular girl in the college had asked him to park her car. She allowed him to touch her baby.

"It's a pleasure, Emilia. I can do anything for you," by the time he finally found his voice to respond, she had disappeared from the corridor.

"The shade of your nail paint is so perfect, Emilia. It matches with your dress and shoes so well," Astia gushed as they entered the classroom.

Emilia ran the tip of her thumb over her nails saying, "It had to be. I especially ordered from Noorie. It is custom made..."

Jenny sat down in their predetermined spot and said dreamily, "You are so lucky, Emy. I wish my father was as rich as you..."

Emilia placed her Nyaka bag on the table and took out a small gift box. She tossed her head proudly and handed it over to Jenny.

Her eyes lit up with joy and she ripped open the packet as soon as possible. Her eyes popped out as she saw the latest edition of the makeup kit inside.

She looked at Emilia with wonderstruck eyes and stuttered, "Are you really giving this to me?"

"Of course! Consider this as your pre- birthday gift," Emilia said as she sat down next to her.

She threw her arms around her and gushed, "Thank you.... thank you....thank you... You are the best...."

She pulled away abruptly and said, "Pre birthday gift? Does that mean I get a birthday gift too?"

"Of course! You are going to be thrilled when you see the gift... It is your eighteenth birthday tomorrow. It has got to be special. We have...."

Emilia smacked her, making her halt in between. She glared at her and gritted out, "You can't keep anything in your stomach, can you? It was supposed to be a surprise!!"

Her mood turned sour and she stopped talking. She had gone to such lengths with the preparations but this stupid girl had to spoil it!

She crossed her arms over her chest and turned her gaze to the blackboard. Leo walked in at this very moment. He didn't notice any change in Emilia's mood and walked up to her bench.

"I have parked your car, Emilia... If you want..."

"That would be enough. You can leave, "Emilia raised her hand and cut him off in a cold voice.

Leo's face flushed and he stuttered, "I thought that..."

A tall, dark and handsome boy with a muscular body grabbed Leo by his collar and shoved him to a seat nearby saying, "You can leave the thinking to men like us, little boy."

The other boys and girls hooted and jeered at him. Emilia remained unaffected by this. She was busy sorting out her own problem which was far more important according to her.

She wasn't able to find the perfect dress for the party; short, revealing yet not cheesy. She wanted it to ooze class and luxury.

Her eyes lit up when she found the perfect A line number. It was a navy blue dress made of pure silk. It had a plunging neckline but didn't show too much skin. The pure diamond belt at the waist made it look classy. She took a screenshot and sent it to her father's secretary with the message, 'I want this by this afternoon."

The reply was instant, 'But, ma'am. It is a bespoke piece. How will I arrange for this dress at such short notice?'

Emilia's face flushed with anger as she typed out the answer, 'If I have to tell you that, what is the point of hiring dimwits like you?'

"Miss Emilia! If you are done with your so-called important chats, will you please pay attention to what I have to say!?" Miss Selene's sharp voice boomed in the room.

Her eyes narrowed as she looked up from her phone. She didn't like her History teacher at all. Why couldn't she leave her alone like the others?

Her face flushed when she sensed the eyes of her classmates on her. She got to her feet as she retorted, "Actually, I have something more important to do..."

Picking up her bag, she walked straight out of the classroom; dragging Jenny and Astia with her.

Miss Selene stood there stunned for a few moments before continuing with her class. If Emilia wasn't her Alpha's daughter, she would never have tolerated her. She had tried complaining to her parents but they had requested her to be considerate instead...

"You are sure we won't get into trouble for leaving the class like this?" Astia asked, wringing her hand as they walked through the corridors.

"Don't be a chicken, Astia. With Emilia's backing no one can even point a finger at us. She is the Alpha's daughter, no one will dare to mess with her, not even our teacher."

Jenny's flattery livened up Emilia's mood and she said in a cheerful voice, "Let us go home and try out the dresses I have picked up for the party."

They sat in her red chevy and drove away. The security guard was about to stop them but when he saw whose car it was, he let them drive through.
