Wedding

Night before the wedding....

Ahana's POV:

Manik called me, my parents and his parents to meet him on the terrace because there is something important to talk about. I was scared. Is there something wrong? Did something happen to anyone? Where is he? I'm so tense that Manik's mom held my hand and told me to calm down.

Manik, Adrian, Aaron, Justin and Axel came towards us and I asked what happened. Manik started explaining, "There is good news as well as bad news. As you know Ahana, Kria is Adrian's mate". For that we heard gasps from our parents. Manik's mom hugged Adrian and said congratulations followed by others. Manik cleared his throat and continued, "Well the problem is Axel, Aaron and Justin found their mates too. Apparently Justin's mate is Aadya. Aaron's mate is Natasha and Axel's mate is umm..." he hesitated. I can see our parents were happy and I was curious to know who. "Axel's mate is Jia", Adrian told them. Everybody's eyes were as wide as saucers because she's way too young. I mean 5 years is not a huge difference but she's not an adult yet and we are worried whether Axel could wait for a year or 2 controlling himself without marking her because I've heard that he is a player and she would go on a heat after 3 months of marking. That's why Manik stayed away from me from the time we got to know we are mates. My parents didn't know until recently.

Kria would kill him if he even looked at her sister. Hansika Malhotra, Manik's mother, asked what to do now. Adrian said he already has a plan and he needs my parents' help to Convince Ryan uncle. I looked at Manik and he smiled at me reassuringly "Isn't it weird that you all got mates here itself? There are no werewolves in India. Vampires and witches killed our kind a long time ago and only I was left. That's why I escaped to the US. I think something's off. We should talk to someone about this Alpha. Once we go to NYC, we will have to talk to your father about this" Rakesh uncle (Manik's father) told the Alpha.

"I had the same thoughts today when I found out about it. I think it's better to wait until we go to New York as you said, uncle" Adrian replied to my Father- in law. My parents are a little worried but are relieved that my friends and cousins will be with me. I'm happy that all my friends are going to be near me from now on too. We are going to be a family for real.

Kria's POV....

Today's Ahana's wedding day. I'm feeling very happy but quite sad because I'll miss her and Adrian will leave for New York. Why am I even thinking about him? What's wrong with me? I've got to get ready before Aadya and Nat kill me.

After we all got ready with our respective Lehenga, Aadya wore North Indian bridal Lehenga as it was given by Manik's family.

Aadya, Natasha and I wore South-Indian half sarees as we wanted to show off our culture to North Indian in-laws.

After the wedding vows, it was time to leave the venue and Manik needed his shoes and Nat hid it in his own closet. It's the last place he would search for.

I was looking for his shoes but I couldn't find it. I felt someone was standing behind me and I knew who it was. "What are you looking at, princess?" He asked. I ignored him and was about to look into Manik's closet but Adrian put the shoes in front of me. "Are you looking for this?" he asked into my ears. I turned around and asked him to give it to me as it was time for reception and we had to go to the other building and get ready for that. "I will give it to you but on one condition" he said in a mischievous manner and I was a little skeptical but accepted. "Kiss me" he said knowing that I wouldn't. I mean I've already kissed him and what could go wrong?

"Okay, close your eyes" as soon I said that he closed his eyes and I put my hands around his neck and pecked him on the cheek almost touching his lips and his kissing all over his face. He was distracted and I grabbed that opportunity to take the shoes and ran away from him, with my lipstick mark all over his face.

I ran with the shoes in my hand asked Manik to give me 1 Lakh rupees (1 hundred thousand) each but after negotiations and my mom scolding me for looting him for 5k rupees shoes, he gave us 50,000 rs each. Kanjoos (stingy)😡

After that we went to the reception venue which was next building, had lunch, took an hour nap and started getting ready for reception.

For some reason Manik wanted Ahana to wear white for her reception and wedding night. Nat teased him saying he has some weird fetish and all but he looked serious when he asked Aadya to design white outfit and I must say she did a wonderful job.

So there was nothing eventful happened other than Adrian torturing me. His friend Justin irritating Aadya and Aaron flirting with Natasha. Is this what guys from the groom's side do? Flirt with the bridesmaids? Idiots. I saw his friend Axel looking at Jia and I felt so angry but I don't want to create a scene on Ahana's special day. I'll take care of that idiot later.

After the wedding and reception...

The Wedding was over. We were all crying that she's going to New York soon and our parents will go to our respective house but we created a scene stating we will stay with Ahana till she leaves. So our parents agreed and they also came to drop Ahana till Manik's home and take all their belongings so that they could leave. I have this feeling that Hana is hiding something from me but I won't force her. She will tell me when she is ready. Anyway, it was her first night today and we all are going to Monkey Man's home now. She's leaving for New York the day after tomorrow in the evening.

When we reached his home, Manik carried her bridal style inside and we were pulling his legs and Ahana was as red as strawberry.

"Kria, pickle come here", my dad called me. Here we go again with another nickname. What's wrong with the men around me and calling me with nicknames and all? "Papaaa, not again" I whined like a child. "Pickle, listen, pack your luggage and tell Aadya and Natasha too.

You girls are leaving for New York with Ahana, Ayra and Jia the day after tomorrow. I want you girls to work in Manik's friend's company for a few days so that you'll get some experience". I was shocked and saw Mr. Hot stuff smirking at me.

I was literally dancing in my mind but I didn't show it on my face. "But papa, you can always train me. I don't need to work for someone else and moreover I don't even want to run a business. I want to plan weddings and parties" I said. "Pickle, just listen to me this once, Now Ahana also needs you girls over there. It's all new to her. Nat and Aadya already agreed. Go baby, listen to me please. I'm not ordering you honey, just requesting. Will you defy papa's request?" Dad said. "Okay papa, just because I don't like defying you and I'm gonna miss you and mamma so much. When we're gone, think about giving me a little brother or sister. Okay?" I thought I whispered but I didn't because everyone heard it. I ran towards my room as everyone started laughing and my mom shouted "YOU BETTER TAKE THAT WORDS BACK KRIA ROSANNA MARTIN" but I closed the door and started jumping on my bed. I was so happy to be bother about my mom's anger, dad will take care of her. "I can still spend time with Adrian" I squeaked like a monkey

Adrian's POV.....

I was ecstatic when she agreed so I followed her and was about to knock on her door but I heard her bed creaking. Later I heard the words which made me the happiest man alive. My Mate said that she's happy to spend more time with me. I knew she was just acting like she was not interested in me. I opened the door and went inside and locked her door.

"What are you doing here Adrian? Don't you understand that I've told you not to disturb me?" she told me sitting on her bed. "I didn't know you were so happy to come with me, little doll and we can make bed creak together if you want" I said holding my laughter. Her eyes went wide at my statement and started hitting on my chest "you pervert bastard, don't you have shame? I'll call my papa and I'm not happy to come with you. I'm happy to be with Ahana. Go away" she started blabbering.

I held her wrists and pulled towards my chest and hugged her. "Baby I heard what you told and you made me the happiest man alive. Now you tell me that you Love me and we can start making babies" I told while hugging her but she elbowed me and said "In your dreams. Why do you have to be a pervert all the time? I hate y...". That's all. I won't let her tell me that. I pushed her to the wall and kissed her hard. At first she didn't respond but later she kissed me back. I broke the kiss and said "I love you Kria, don't ever leave me. Please". "I don't know what I'm feeling but I like it. Don't leave me, Adrian" she told me, hugging me tightly. "I wouldn't even dream about it, baby. Now sleep" I told her and I hugged her till she fell asleep, kissed her forehead and went to my room dreaming about my Luna.
