Chapter 15- Awakening:

Kurumi Grinned Maniacally As The Priest Grinned Back With The Same Level Of Craziness. "Let's Light This Show Up!" Kurumi Yelled Before Pointing Her Hand Out As A Row of Lightning Crashed Into The Ground Heading Towards The Priest.

The Priest Took Out Another Bayonet And Swiftly Moved Both Bayonets In Front Of His Face Blocking The Powerful Lightning With Ease As He Had A Grin Painted Along His Face. "Ahahaha! Is That It? Pathetic Whore!" The Priest Laughed Loudly Before Charging Straight Towards Kurumi With Only Murder On His Mind.

The Priest Then Flung Four Separate Bayonets At Kurumi As they flew Through The Air Kurumi Rolled Her Eyes As She Used Her Lightning To Completely Erase The Incoming Projectiles.

Before She Could Even Realize He Snuck Up Behind Her And Slashed Her Back With His Bayonet As Blood Spewed Onto The Ground Covering It In Crimson. As My Eyes Widened In Shock Kurumi's Body Laying Beaten And Battered As She Attempted To Crawl Away In Agony And Pain.

"Stop It! Thadrick!" I Yelled Begging Him To Stop This Crazed Slaughter. The Priest Merely Smirked As He Shook His Head, "It's Really Embarrassing That You Choose Some Monster Girls Over Your Kin" He Sighed Speaking In An Angered Tone Now. "I Think I'll Kill You Too," He Remarked As He Approached Me Closer And Closer.

I Grabbed Kana Quickly Cradling Her In My Arms Shaking Her and Trying To Get Her Up However It Was No Use. Her Eyes Slightly Opened As She Uttered A Few Words, "I Love You" She Then Swiftly Moved Her Fangs Around My Neck As She Pierced My Flesh.

She Then Fell Unconscious Again, However, My Body Felt Different Like My Blood Was Multiplying. The Priest Then Thrusted His Blade Straight Into My Direction However I Blocked It Catching It In My Arm Surprisingly Fast. Could Have Kana's Blood Multiplied Within Me?

The Priest Then Dashed Backwards To Gain Distance. "Huh, I Guess You're Now Fully Corrupted" He Shrugged Before Flinging Five Bayonets In My Direction, Then I Made A Finger Gun Gesture With My Finger As It Fired Pure Red Blood From Within It In An Instant Diverting The Bayonets Direction.

"I Can Manipulate Blood?" I Looked At My Hands With A Shocked Expression As The Priest Seemed To Be Quite Shocked Himself. "Interesting, Bringing You Alive To My Superiors Would Be A Good Idea Perhaps I Could See What's The True Source Of Your Power" The Priest Announced Seemingly Changing His Idea Of Killing Me To Capturing Me Instead.

But I Still Wouldn't Let Him Touch Me Either Way After What He's Done. "Let's Finish This Once And For All, For I Have Been Given Audience Yet Again, Watch Me God! For I Shall Smite This Demon" He Laughed Maniacally While Twirling His Bayonet In His Right Hand. 

He Then Charged At Me With Almost Supersonic Speeds As His Blades Collided In My Arm However I Felt Zero Pain, I Could Feel The Blades Dig In But It Felt Like My Body Nullified The Initial Reaction.

"Is That It? Corrupt Priest!" I Yelled Before Punching Him In The Stomach Sending Him Flying Across The Cobblestone Path However He Seemed Almost Unfazed As His Face Was Painted With The Same Grin As Before.

"Alright It Seems You Won't Be Pushover Like Most Bottom Feeding Demons" The Priest Retorted In Disdain As He Clutched His Blades Firmly. "I'll Just Have To Get Serious Then" The Priest Stated As Blood From His Hands Moved Onto His Blade Turning It From A Greyish Colour To A Pure Red Glowing Colour. It Appeared He Too Had Blood Manipulation.

This Guy Was Insane And I Had To Put Him Down Quickly Before He Kills Kana And Kurumi. He Was Poised To Strike As He Readied His Bayonets In An Offensive Stance. I Then Imagined A Sword In My Hand And As I Blinked A Sword Purely Made Out Of Blood Materialized Into My Hand. This Was Something Straight Out Of An Ecchi Fantasy Show.

Then At Tremendous Speeds, He Leaped Towards Me I Successfully Managed To Parry His Attack As His Eyes Seemed Hungry For Blood Like Eyes That Of A Hunter. He Applied More Force Pushing Me Back As He Did So However I Quickly Moved Out of The Way Dodging His Attack. Before Leaping Above Him And Attack From Above As The Ground Cracked Underneath Him.

"Ah, So This Is The True Power Of A Demon, Savory" He Yelled Surprisingly In Joy It Seemed. He Dashed Backwards As I Lightly Landed Back Down Onto The Ground. This Was Beginning To Look Like Fighting Some Kind Of Videogame Boss, Which Made The Experience More Exhilarating.

I Then Ran Towards Him With The Same Tremendous Speeds, As I Delivered A Flurry Of Attacks Towards Him He Parried Continuously However With Each Parry He Seemed To Be Getting More Staggered. "Damn, It'll Take Way More To Kill You... Monster" He Exhaled Before Nodding With A Smile. "You Have My Thanks, For Giving Me A Good Fight, Until Next Time Demon Scumbag" He Exclaimed Before Turning Away.

The Mysterious Priest Soon Leaped Away Into The Forest Where His Figure Faded Eventually. There Was No Point In Chasing Him As Kana And Kurumi Was My Top Priority. I Quickly Rushed Towards Them... Hopefully, They Were Fine...

And Still Alive.
