First Mission

Yuu slowly slid open the door to his room and made his way towards the end of the floor, where he spotted a lightly decorated garden.

Arriving at the end of the Corridor, Yuu had no time to examine his surroundings as he was immediately greeted by a light blue interface:

'Please choose a mission offered to the host!'

Mission number 1: Face-slap the Fēng Heir, spit in his face and challenge him to a battle to the death!

Reward: Red queen 1x !

Mission number 2: Challenge Fēng Shāolíng to a spar and thoroughly defeat her!

Rewards: 3rd rate villain vocabulary 1x !

'Wait wait, you want me to humiliate the heir of the Fēng clan just upon meeting him?'

Given their relation with the Shihōin clan as a vassal, it'd be tantamount to directly spitting in the face of one of the 4 great noble families; i know that the Shihōin Patriarch is pretty easygoing but he would still be pissed, even taking ukitake and kyoraku's relationship into account, nothing good would come from something like that!

'And what's with those rewards?'

Before Yuu was able to finish his rant, Ukitake Jushirō spoke up in delight.

"Yuu, youre finally awake!" "How are you?"

'please dont tell me im about to wake up on some worn-down carriage and get dragged to my execution just for it to be interrupted by a random world-ending dragon'

"Dont worry about me brother, im fine in fact i feel a lot better than before" Yuu replied in a restrained manner.

"That's good, me and Kirihara checked up on you multiple times and even though you seemed fine, you simply wouldn't wake up." Ukitake replied in a relieved tone.

'So even second older brother came? if i remember correctly, he moved out a few months ago to live with his fiancee'

"Im sorry for disrupting your conversation; I was simply wondering whether it would be too disrespectful for me to ask to spar with the young lady of the Fēng house? I haven't had the opportunity to compare my strength with anyone of my age yet." Yuu replied in a confident yet courteous manner while looking at Fēng Shāolíng's older brother.

Fēng Shi Yan's expression slightly eased up upon taking a closer look at Yuu.

'His Reiatsu has already reached the 7th class at his age and even though he recently suffered an attack he's already trying to improve himself, while he could be seen as somewhat arrogant, if he truly has the ability to back up his words and temperament then he would definitely be considered a rare genius'

While Fēng Shi Yan was inspecting Yuu, he noticed Fēng Shāolíng repeatedly sneaking glances at both him and Yuu.

'this girl..'

"Very well, since you're confident in having recovered enough, feel free to try, go ahead and follow him to the training ground Shāolíng!" Fēng Shi Yan spoke in a somewhat serious manner while a strange gleam flashed past his eyes.

"Understood lord brother" Fēng Shāolíng quickly responded.

"I'm thankful for the opportunity"

Yuu replied in a dignified manner while swiftly moving along the corridor; Feng Shaolin following closely behind with a curious expression, unknowing that he had already gained Fēng Shi Yan's respect.

Having left the house, a medium-sized stone training ground encircled by a small river and lush trees came into view.

'The reward for defeating Fēng Shāolíng will most likely be a lot lower but the other option is simply asking for death while putting a target on my head for no reason; I should at least try to learn some kido from my older brother before he returns to the division after this'

"alright, since i issued the challenge, I will let you choose the category" Yuu smiled and said towards Fēng Shāolíng.

'Is he simply being courteous or is he looking down on me? wait could it be..?'

A slight blush could be seen on Fēng Shāolíng's cheeks as she quickly responded with a proposition.

"How about Hakuda and Hohō?"

"That's fine by me" Yuu replied while casually tossing aside the Asauchi hanging from his belt.

Upon hearing his answer Fēng Shāolíng's face turned serious as she took a stance.

Witnessing this, Yuu's pale violet eyes emitted a cold light.

After half an incense stick's time, the two had already disappeared from their original positions!
