Merlin quietly observed Bianca who was like an open book and shook his head inwardly.
'I wonder who messed with her this time? It seems their demise is inevitable…' Merlin mused in amusement at the fearless people.
He didn't quite care much about them and he would support her antiques too. But he also understood that she didn't want to lose composure in front of the children thus reminding her. She took pride in being a good adult figure, an idol to the children.
After dinner, the group went their separate ways. Lucien who would have been holed up in a book about right now was slowly following Mitchell who was returning to his home. He didn't speak up and silently followed a few steps behind the grown up.
When they arrived at the house, Mitchell gestured at Lucien to wait in the guest area. He brought some sweets and snacks and put them in front of the kids.
Lucien glanced at the sweets for a second before picking one and sitting.
