Blacksmith's Exploration of New Heaven(MMORPG)

A tale of a newly broke gambler who finds himself immersed in a world-wide phenomenon of the New MMORPG that's ground breaking for its time. With solid leveling and explanations this novels goal is to satisfy that itch for a good adventure story while having deep plot. My main focus is on making the systems fluid and solid for future world building. The Blacksmith and other supplementary systems are well thought out and should bring a few surprises along the way.

Looking at all the gear on him he was quite excited to go and adventure for hours.

The only thing he was unhappy about was his current coin pouch with a measly 1 copper.

While walking out of the City of Strata he overheard that a public Dungeon had been found in the nearby forest.

Glancing at his minimap Gruv noticed there was a little cave icon now in the middle of the forest labeled:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Common Magically Inclined Forest:

Level 5

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A perfect Grinding spot!

Looking at the dungeon on his map Gruv smiled and enthusiastically ran off towards the area.

Passing groups of people fighting wolves spawn killing the wolves that showed up.

On his way to the Dungeon he used Great Slash, Pounding, and Regular attacks to wolves.

He was dealt 1/3 of his health, roughly 100 damage, but because of these encounters he leveled up once more to Level 4 and was once again fully healed.

"Great another copper coin" said Gruv.

From running to the dungeon from Strata he obtained 20 copper and many wolf materials that could be used to forge or to sell to people.

A overall great profit before the adventure even began.

Entering the area around the marker on the map he saw more people around and many people being cautious in there own party's.

A massive Tree could be seen where the marker was on the map.

Looking up at the tree Gruv couldn't see the top of it.

Around him many groups that were not full of 5 people were yelling asking around for members to join there group.

"Come join us, the Mighty Lions!"

"Everyone welcome!"

"First Come First Serve!"

"Looking for a Wizard!"

"Anyone good at climbing can come along!"

Gruv heard around everyone shouting for people to join then and conditions to join.

While looking around he saw a person selling some (White) Okay gear on the floor near the base of the tree.

Gruv walked up to the man, which looked tired, and asked:

"Hello Sir, Do you have any information for sale"

"You come over here asking for information and not my wares?

Khuh, I got excited over nothing" said the man.

"I can pay a little copper for useful information" said Gruv

Noticing that Gruv was fully geared in obviously not starter gear the man said:

"Since your not buying anything I'll charge you 4 copper for any information"

Looking smug that, expecting no one to pay that amount for information.

Mind you he was selling all his gear he had for 10-20 copper a piece at the moment.

"Sure" said Gruv.

Flicking out on his thumb four copper pieces to the man on the floor.

Looking startled that he actually paid that price for information the man grunted and stood up.

"Fine, Since you paid I'll sincerely tell you the most recent information.

This tree here was just found a couple hours ago and everyone flocked to it once it was posted on the Forums in game.

After everyone got here with there parties or alone, they noticed that it was just a massive tree with specks of monsters on the tree limbs.

You got me right, you have to climb the tree to kill anything!

Once everyone noticed that, people started climbing with their party's but the monsters were to strong! After getting up to a branch the first party member up there would instantly die.

So people have derived a strategy of all 5 people climbing at once, so that you get up there and split the aggro of the arrows.

That's all the information I know right now about this dungeon.

The most successful adventuring party also got a Piece of gear that had a Unique Ability on it, even though it was (White), stirred the community because of the first chance of getting good gear other than buying it for ridiculous prices for blacksmiths like myself" said the NPC.

After listening to him Broken Fire looked around for a party to go join so he doesn't get targeted by all the monsters at once, however not a big group where he would have to share resources with a lot.

Looking around he saw a group of 2 girls, one with starter Wizard gear/robes, and one with a dagger at her hilt.

They to were yelling around for people to join them but interestingly they were only yelling for one person to join them.

Broken Fire approached with a smile on his face.
