While I was leisurely strolling through the forest, I suddenly heard a miserable shriek coming from behind me.

Somehow, I had a familiar feeling, but I couldn't quite grasp it.

So, I chose to run in the direction of where the sound came from.

In the blink of an eye, I have arrived at the scene and I was astounded to see that the animal that had released the shriek was actually the small tiger that had been with me in the cave before.

The tiger had a bloody wound in its side and it seemed to be a fatal injury.

Setting my eyes on the animal that was walking towards the tiger, a screen with information popped up.

It seemed that the Tiger encountered the wolf and could only try to run away, because in a battle the Tiger would have absolutely no chance, since it hadn't even started on the path of cultivation.

After realizing all of this in a split second, I directly rushed towards the wolf before he could reach the tiger and slashed his side with my claws.

Immediately blood spurted out of his wound and his guts spilled out, therefore marking him dead.

I looked towards the tiger and saw that he did not move anymore. The tiger seemed to have fainted because of blood loss, so I directly searched in the [System Shop] for healing items because I had already imagined why the tiger was here in this part of the forest. It had probably searched for me; therefore, I felt a little guilty towards it and wanted to heal the tiger.

'Now that I also think about it, I don't know if this tiger is a female or male yet. Man, it is so troublesome without being able to speak. I really want to be able to speak again soon.' I shortly wandered in my thoughts.

'Ok, let's quickly heal the tiger!' I interrupted my thoughts and opened the [System shop].

I clicked on [general search] and thought of Healing and directly may things related to healing showed up in front of me.

[Can heal slightly larger injuries. Only one usage]

… There were many more of these talismans with varying healing effects, but nothing was really suitable for a kind of deep and fatal injurie like the tiger currently had.

Then I finally saw, what I was looking for.

I immediately bought this pill and the pill suddenly appeared in front of me in the air.

Before it could fall down, I caught it with my mouth, but without using too much strength or it would break and the pill would be wasted.

I walked to the tiger's side and tried to use one of my paws to open its mouth and when I finally succeeded, I directly let the pill fall inside its mouth.

There the medical properties of the pill were constantly being released and ran through the tiger's body.

I could see with my bare eyes how the wound was closing up with the speed visible to the naked eye.

A slightly green glow surrounded the tiger and healed every wound on its body.

Only after ten minutes did the effect of the pill vanish, but the tiger still showed no signs of waking up.

After that I quickly used <Black Hole> and turned the wolf into system points.

Then I decided to bite into the fur of the little tiger and carry it like I had seen it being done by lions in animal documentaries many times.

While I had the little tiger hanging down from my mouth, I was looking for a good place to rest.

After around twenty minutes, I finally found a rather secluded cave entrance.

I carefully marched forwards, while being vigilant of potential beasts in this cave, but it seems that I was lucky and no beast was occupying this cave at the moment.

After I put down the tiger on the floor, I decided to finally rest, since I was already getting a little exhausted.

When I woke up the next day, I once again felt a tikling sensation on my face and when I opened my eyes, I discovered that it was the little tiger that caused this.

When the tiger saw that I had woken up, it seemed to be really happy and thus licked my face again.

I really don't know what this tiger had with its face licking but I guess that it is an inherent animalistic trait.

It could also be to express its gratitude for saving it, but I don't know how high its current intelligence is.

When I was on my way to go hunt again, the tiger followed me and I could only let it be, since I couldn't talk to it.

'Well, since you want to follow me, then follow me.' I thought, since it should not be much of a problem to protect the tiger while I was hunting.

I also decided to give it a cultivation technique since it seemed that we are fated with each other, but that had to wait, until I had enough [System points], because a good technique would cost way more than I currently had.

This time I very quickly encountered a prey.

It was a goblin again, but this time it was at the 6th Tier of the Novice realm, so a little bit higher than the last goblin.

Nevertheless, it posed absolutely no threat to me and was swiftly killed by my razor-sharp claws.

This time when I activated < Black hole>, I chose to convert into [Essence] again, since a 6th Tier of the Novice realm goblin would still give me a good increase in strength in contrast to the 2nd or 3rd tier beasts that I had encountered yesterday.
