{Maybe she's finally accepted her new reality.... But what's really going on inside little Miss flower's head?}

'What the hell is he doing here?!!'
The question sounded loud in her head as stood frozen atop the stairs. Lily had no idea how much time had passed, but she still couldn't bring herself to turn to him.
Her eyes widened as she felt him gently tap her shoulder. She turned so quickly and abruptly that she almost toppled over, but luckily for her, he caught her just in time. She landed face first on his hard, brawny chest.
While her heart was in complete fret and distress, she could almost clearly hear his steady heartbeat through the fulvous colored shirt he had on.
Lily carefully but moved away, freeing herself from his loose grip.
She awkwardly cleared her throat, suppressing all the overwhelming emotions she was experiencing, and daringly looked up at him.
His deep-set dark-grey eyes, jet black coarse wavy hair, sharp jawline with a bit of facial hair, double lashes, and those dark, arched brows.
He looked just as she'd last remembered him, only this time he wasn't holding a gun or covered in her parents' blood.
"What are you doing here Sebastian?" She asked, her voice coming out as antagonistic as she'd wanted it.
Surprise flashed in his grey eyes, although his face remained totally unfazed.
"I believe I asked first." His deep but confident velvety voice rang out, causing the young lady to narrow her green, compelling eyes at him.
"Excuse me Sir, but I believe this is technically MY house, and I can sneak around whenever I want to." She folded her arms, trying her best to calm her frantic heartbeat. She felt disgruntled,
stunned, and of course a bit nervous. That WAS the man who'd murdered her parents in front of her very eyes!
"You should be the one explaining what you're doing here." She spoke firmly, and would've felt proud of herself, if not for the lopsided grin he was giving her.
Lily couldn't help but frown in umbrage. Was he making fun of her?!
"Are you feeling alright?" He asked out of the blue causing Lily's lour to deepen.
"Of course I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" She questioned him, endeavoring to quell the storm that was brewing inside her.
He took a step forward, much to Lily's vexation. If she took a step back, she would be falling to her liable death!
"You blink a lot when you're nervous."
He stated simply.
"It's kind of alluring." He surmised, taking on a slightly amused look.
She gaped at him in awe, fighting the pink-ish tint forming on her cheeks.
Lily hadn't even realized she'd been blinking so much...
'When did he figure this out?' She wondered for a second but promptly regained her equanimity.
"Are you going to tell me what you're doing here?" She asked, again hands now akimbo.
"Your friend called me here." His tone changed back to the nonchalant one she'd gotten used to.
"Said you were queasy or something along those lines, although you look quite alright to me." He concluded, scanning her from head to toe.
Lily inwardly rolled her eyes as she already knew who'd phoned him.
'God Eve, when are you ever gonna learn to—'
"Lily?" Her thoughts were impeded as she heard someone call her name, from somewhere down the hallway. She instantly perceived the voice as Valerie's.
"Oh no...Ugh! I have to leave. Don't even think about telling her you saw me!" She warned, turning to him the last time with a momentous look, before briskly running down the stairs.
Sebastian watched her running figure disappear around the corner.
"I wasn't going to."
A small smile graced his lips, allowing his exclamatory dimples a moment of display.
"Hey! Excuse me, Sebastian? Did you happen to see where—" Valerie was about to implore when the man cut her off.
"No." He said, not even glancing at her, then inclusively walked past her, descending the stairs.
"Ugh! How rude! Why is everyone so freaking blunt today?!" She asked no one in particular, storming off to Lily's room. Valerie was almost sure she had seen her with Sebastian just a moment ago...
After a few gentle knocks with no response, Valerie slowly but carefully opened the door.
Seeing no one on the bed but a sound asleep Remy, Valerie ventured further into the room. She looked inside the closet which was to the opposite right side of the bed. She opened the closet door, only to be met by nothing but a series of almost all types of clothes, bags, shoes, and... costumes?
"What the hell is this girl planning?" She wondered out loud, but decided to find the girl herself first, then ask.
"Lily! Are you in here?"
Her voice echoed inside the bathroom, which was to the opposite left side of the bed. She promptly opened the door after receiving no response, and yet again, no one was around.
"Hey, Remy!" She called the sleeping guy, who grunted in annoyance but still didn't open his eyes.
"REMY! Wake up!" She called out loud.
Remy's eyes opened, his entire being filled with annoyance at the very least.
"My art pieces better be burning or else..." He said in a low, threatening tone simultaneously glaring holes into the young woman's eyes.
"What if the world was burning?" She inquired, seemingly unfazed, only to receive an 'Are you serious' look.
A long sight escaped her lips, as she sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Look I'm sorry for disturbing your precious siesta Rem. But you should know that it's almost three in the afternoon, and you've been asleep for about seven hours." She paused looking up seriously at him.
"And you should also know that Mrs. Sanchez will not spare my life if she finds out that her lovable daughter Lily, doesn't even have a wedding dress yet!" Her voice got significantly louder at the end, clearly a bit skittish.
"Don't you think you're overreacting a bit?" Remy asked, getting to his feet, stretching his arms out in an inflated motion.
"Overreacting?!" Valerie asked almost in incredulity.
"Have you seen that woman when she's angry?! I mean, she's usually terrifying even as her normal self!" She stood, pacing back and forth.
"See THIS is why I shouldn't have agreed to organize this bizarre match-made wedding!"
"Woah there, tiger. Calm down." He said, gently grabbing her shoulders to stop her non-stop pacing.
"You have nothing to worry about." He said in an assuring tone, smiling a little.
Valerie's face shone with hope.
"Thanks, Remy I really needed to hear tha—"
"I'm sure Mr. Sanchez will have your head way before his wife can get to you." He said in the same supportive tone, but his eyes shone with glee seeing the ambivalent look on Valerie's face.
As Remy walked out, he let the amusement in his eyes fully show on his pearly whites.
