Alex then alter own tried his magic which was mana manipulation it allowed him to manipulate the mana in his surrounding environment and use it at his own wish but ofr now the only spell he had was a magic ball it was an explosive spell meant to compress an amount of mana and then throw it towards any object upon making contact it will cause a small explosion slighly bigger than a grenade. while it was strong spell it was way to.unrefined for Alex to use in battle, so palnned.on improving it. one big advantage he had was his modern scientific education and mana manipulation which allowed him to differentiate mana particles and other atoms and even combine them to make new spells this allows him to polish his magic to new levels one.big advantage he found was that he can use mana in the environment as such he could use water magic if he had water near him and fire if he had fire near him wind though was more difficult to generate beacuse of.the large amount of things it is made up of he did succeeded in making a tornado once but it was far to.destrutive because of his raw.power. Alex with the help of kohaku ventured as far as high mana regions to train his magic power and combat ability and killed a.lot.of.monsters as well he did feel like that he was too ower powered but this was a.matter of.light and death he could not take chances about any of these.after training for 6 months he managed to learn a lot of new spells and increase his innate abilities to a higher level, some of these spells were magic spells were magic ball much more refined and a tad more stronger, mana control this allowed him to control the magic of someone else and change its nature by manipulating the mana within for.example he could.take a water magic attack but not only could he stop the attack kids air he could freeze it change its shape and throw.it back at the caster. other one being levitation this one was much simple he simply had to surround him self with mana and then he could control it to fly in the air may be not as fast as kohaku but he will reach there and the last one was gate this was a special spell and took him a lot of time to get. he had to travel between long distances and imagine the entire path and constitute the mana within it to join two places together and make a teleportation gate.thoigh he could only go to places he had already been. he also improved his blood feild skill and mana feild skill to a higher degree than before he also achieved high success in mind control and and the dancing swords another thing he realised was that he could.use these spells even without his grimoire. also that his grimoire can be kept.in his soul space much like kohaku and still used, so with all his training he made his way to the capital for the magic knights examination
