Another Deal

Soon the chains completely bound Black Adam and pulled him inside the ground and imprisoned him right beneath his own palace.

Lady Death saw everything that happened right in front of her eyes but didn't interfered in this matter and just gave a smile to Black Adam while he was being sealed.

Wizard Shazam who has sealed Black Adam fell on his knees after sealing Black Adam and at that spot he began to grieve for the loss of his other companion wizards who were killed by Black Adam.

Walking slowly towards the grieving wizard, Lady Death said, "Your companions are dead and now you are all alone for the rest of the eternity. It's a curse for you that you have gained by helping Zeus."

Hearing the words of the woman, Wizard Shazam looked at her and seeing her he at first thought that she might be an accomplice of Black Adam.

Seeing this woman, Wizard Shazam stood up and brought his staff and got ready to fight this woman as well.

At this moment Wizard Shazam who is known to be the wizard with the most amount of Wisdom lost his wisdom before his rage and anger.

Seeing the wizard ready to fight, a smile appeared on the face of Lady Death and she just said, "Try it."

Hearing her provoke, the wizard became more enraged and began to chant a spell and with the finish of his chanting began to attack the lady with energy attacks.

But soon the wizard saw that his energy blast just passed through the woman which shocked the wizard but then the wizard thought that this woman might be a spirit or any other paranormal entity.

So he immediately began to chant a very strong spell of his after which an energy blast which has four different colors of energy infused in it attacked on that woman.

But just like the previous one, this attack also passed through the woman without making any harm or slightest scratch on the woman.

This thing now shocked the wizard as he couldn't understand what really happened. But then on the other hand the lady showed her hand towards the old wizard and said,

Lady Death: "You had your turn. Now it's my turn. Soul presento."

Just as Lady Death said these words, the old wizard saw the spirits of his dead wizard companions around him floating in the air.

This made the wizard very confused and shocked as he has never thought that these spirits of his dead companions could come in front of him like this.

But soon he concluded that it might an Illusion casted by this woman to make him vulnerable and weak.

So he immediately attacked one of those spirits which he thought to be illusions and this attack of him began to burn that spirit.

That spirit which was attacked began to shout loudly which made the wizard to feel that this spirit which he has attacked and destroyed is actually a real spirit and not an Illusion.

And more than that this spirit was of his dead companion and he has killed the spirit. This realization made Wizard Shazam very heart broken.

Wizard Shazam: "You vicious woman, you dared to use the souls of my companions against me."

Lady Death: "What ridiculous thing you are saying Wizard Shazam. I just wanted to let you meet your companions but it was you who attacked that poor soul and killed it."

Hearing the words of Lady Death, Wizard Shazam became more heart broken but then he saw the soul which he has attacked turning into a fragment and with it all the other souls moved into the body of the woman.

Seeing this the wizard became very confused but after a few moments the wizard asked the woman about her real identity.

Wizard Shazam: "Who are you actually ? Why that soul fragment went to you ? And more importantly the souls of the dead companions which should be at the Mount Olympus how come you brought them all here and they all return back into your body ? Who exactly are you ?"

Lady Death: "I am what sorcerers like you, mortals and so called Gods call Death. I am Death myself. The souls of the dead are under my command. I can send and bring any soul from anywhere I want. And now those souls will be devoured by me."

Hearing the word "Death" from the mouth of that lady, the wizard didn't took long to understand that this woman is telling the truth and she is indeed Death herself.

The wizard soon got up and moved closer to Lady Death and then folding his hands before Lady Death, the wizard began to beg her to let the souls of his companions to rest well.

Lady Death: "You have so much wisdom in your mind. You forget that I am the one who controls all souls. And I have said that I will devour all of those souls."

Wizard Shazam: "Please Lady Death let them rest well."

Seeing the helplessness and begging of the wizard, Lady Death has a smirk on her face and then she said,

Lady Death: "Wizard I like your begging. But you see it's not so easy to get anything from Death. But since you have begged me so well for that I can make an exception for you."

Hearing this the wizard became happy but then Lady Death continued, "If you want all of the souls of your companions to be freed from my clutches then you have make a deal with me once again. So tell me are you ready to make a deal with me ?"

Wizard Shazam: "I am ready. Tell what's my end of bargain ?"

Lady Death: "In exchange for your companions souls freedom you have pave a way to unseal Black Adam from his shackles of sealing which you have bound him with."

This condition of Lady Death, shocked Wizard Shazam. Because the wizard clearly knows about the threat and view point Black Adam possess for this world.

But then again the wizard also knows the reality of Lady Death which terrified him thinking about the pain and sufferings which his companions souls have to go through when they will get devoured by Lady Death.

And soon this proposed condition of Lady Death created an internal tussel in the wizard where he has two choices in front of him which is either let the souls of his companions get devoured by Lady Death or create a path way for Black Adam to come back from his sealing.

The wizard stuck between this internal tussel of his own after a few moments of deep thinking found his own answer to resolve this internal tussel of his own.

Wizard Shazam: "I agree with your condition Lady Death. I will create a way to unseal Black Adam and in return you promise me to let the souls of my companions to rest and free."

Lady Death with a chuckle on her face said, "Very well. I am really impressed with your decision. Okay I agree with your terms. Now create that way."

Sometimes even the most righteous and justice loving people gets weak by the circumstances which force them to take decisions which have many greater impact for the future.

And now this decision of the wizard is one such decision taken due to his weak moments. 

Nonetheless agreeing with Lady Death, Wizard Shazam moved to the place from where Black Adam was sealed and then kneeling on that same location Wizard Shazam placed his hand on that same location and then closing his eyes he began to put an enchantment on the sealing place.

This process of the wizard took some moments in which some changes occurred in the environment and electric charges got fused with that enchantment.

After finishing his enchantment Wizard Shazam came near to Lady Death and said all things that he has done along with the security measurement that he has done to protect that sealed location.

With a smirk on her face after knowing all of this, Lady Death began to float in the air with her eyes tuning completely white with golden energy beams radiating from her body.

Soon an orb came out of her body which began to revolve around her and coming back to normal, Lady Death told Wizard Shazam that this orb contains the souls of his companions and that he can take this orb and set them free himself.

Taking the orb from Lady Death, Wizard Shazam flew away from Kahndaq and as Lady Death saw him flying away a smirk appeared her face as she mentions, "You had made a grave sin of sealing my precious Black Adam. You should be punished for that."

As she mentioned this, a same orb as that of the orb the wizard took appear in the hands of Lady Death indicating that Lady Death has cheated Wizard Shazam with a fake orb.
