They meet another young man in the group who is a lot younger than they are. The younger man falls in love with a young Indian girl. Chapter 12

The next morning Henry, Josh, and Bob went into town.

"Do you think they are gone?" asked Billy.

"I don't know, we won't know until Henry and the rest of them get back from town," said Lone Wolf.

"What if they figure that we are here?" asked Billy.

"If they do, they do," said Lone Wolf.

So Henry and the boys were still in town, they didn't see the Sheriff or the Native deputy.

"Check the hotels and I'll talk to Jason," said Henry walking over to the jailhouse.

"Henry how are you?" asked Jason.

"I'm good, I saw the Sheriff from Texas come by here, then they came up to Frankie's place, did you tell them?" asked Henry.

"They did not know to go up there, they just came here and gave me to mug shots, and I said if I see them I'll put them in jail and telegram you to come to pick them up, that's all I said and they left," said Jason.

"I know you are caught in between, if they catch them and possibly kill them, would you let them kill them boys?" asked Henry.

"Henry, I don't want that to happen in my town, but he is another Sheriff, and I am by the law, I can't stop them from killing or taking them, it's the law," said Jason.

"Henry, the teller at the hotel says they checks out an hour ago," said Bob.

"We will see you later Jason," said Henry walking away, they went back to Frankie's house.

"Well," said Billy going outside the house.

"The hotel teller says they checks out an hour ago," said Bob.

"Yeah they might have checked out, but not out of Montana, "said Red Bear.

"What if it's a trap, they may be hiding out somewhere," said Josh.

"That could be possible," said Lone Wolf.

"Great, so what are we going to do now," said Billy.

"I don't know, we will have to wait and see," said Lone Wolf.

"I'll go back into town and tell Little Woman what is going on," said Josh.

"Keep an eye out as well," said Henry.

"I will," said Josh leaving the house. Josh rode into town to see Little Woman, he arrived at the hotel and walked inside upstairs to her room.

KNOCK, KNOCK!

"Who is it?" asked Little Woman.

"It's me, Josh."

"Come on in," smiled Little Woman holding the baby in her arms.

Josh smiles. "Little Woman, I need to tell you something."

"What is it?" asked Little Woman.

"Come over here and sit down," said Josh.

So she walks over to the bed and sits down with the baby in her arms.

"There is a Sheriff in town, that is from Texas, he is looking for Billy and Lone Wolf for murder," said Josh.

"What?" worried Little Woman.

"It was bound to happen someday Little Woman," said Josh.

Little Woman started to cry.

"Whatever happens, let it happen, I don't want you or the child to be hurt, he told me to stay out of it that it was not my fight," said Josh.

"I won't step in, if it happens, it will happen," said Little Woman drawing the baby closer to her.

Josh stayed with her and the baby. At Frankie's house, the boys were up late, cleaning their guns, and then they went to sleep.
