To Be or Not To Be

It had been a few days since the whole saga and Ella had still not seen Joey. She was back to work which felt really weird to begin with. She did not know what else to do but slip back into her little bubble of normal. She had become even more distant than before. She didn't want to remember anything that happened even though it was practically impossible.

She could see right into his office but she never really saw him at work these past few days.

She had no idea why she was looking. She didn't exactly want to see him but she wanted to know that he was around. Because if he was, that would mean that he was around.

She could not get Gunner out of her mind. It was the most surreal thing.
