A New Step

It had not been long when the both of them had come into the place that she was already itching to leave again. She had felt like this all evening, ever since the kiss. And just like he was reading her mind, he had asked her if she wanted to get out of there.

Ella could feel the air in her lungs run dry as soon as he suggested that they go to his place. It felt like he was asking her to take the next step in whatever this was, even if she knew that it was not yet a relationship.

It did not take long before he had taken her home. She felt at ease here and she didn't know why. She wasn't sure why but she felt relaxed in his home. It almost felt like hers and she had that sensation of not needing to fear anything. She had been so tense the last couple of weeks but she didn't feel all that right now.

She needed to change out of what she had on. She touched her dress, wondering how to ask for a change. She felt hesitant asking.
