A Date

Ella was sure that this was something that she could not do and the mere thought of it unsettled her. She did not want to lose this job and even if he had given it to her, she wanted to keep it. She had worked her ass off to get here and she did not do it by being lazy.

"What is it?" She asked.

This was taking a weird turn. It was not the way she had imagined that this would go but then again, she was not sure that she knew how this could have gone.

"Truth is I've been looking for you for a while. " He told her.

Was he joking or messing with her right now. She had been down the hall all the while. They even made eye contact more times than she felt was sanitary between a boss and his employee but she thought nothing of it. She had to.

"Me?" She said, showing surprise.

"Yeah. I have been and I am told that you are just the woman for the job." He added.
