A Clear Night

This had been a long and a rather nightmarish day. She could not wait for it to end. When he mentioned something about food and not having eaten, she was instantly starving. 

She guessed she would be out for a while longer, she told herself. She wanted to eat now that he had brought it up and she did oblige for him to take her somewhere. 

She would have been excited if it wasn't that she had eaten here before. How could she even forget. 

She couldn't get out of bed for a couple of days and that was putting it mildly. Not to mention the stomach ache and all that she had to endure all through that time. 

She was instantly against the idea of eating here again. Well, that was until he had convinced her that the food was better. Why did she instantly take one look in his eyes and agreed with him. She had imagined that she saw something there but she did not want to believe it.
