Olivia walked into the house, expecting the usual quiet after a long day, but froze when she saw her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wang, already seated in the living room. Her eyes widened in surprise as a huge grin spread across her face. She practically sprinted over, kissing them both on the cheek. "What are you guys doing here?" she asked warmly, her voice laced with curiosity. "Did Leticia already whip something up for you?"
Mrs. Wang, her face gentle but firm, caught Olivia by the arm before she could rush off. "Liv, no need to fuss," she said, pulling her daughter back to her. "We just came by because we missed Lou. No need to make a big deal out of it."
Olivia's father, Mr. Wang, nodded in agreement. "Your mother even brought a whole bunch of healthy food for Lou," he said, motioning to the bags they'd brought. They were both strict about avoiding junk food, always carrying fruits, salads, nuts, and other "real food" whenever they visited.
