Melissa's pov.

She suddenly leaned  to my ear, " It's the chairman son, Bobby"

" Bobby?" I asked in surprise, my eyeballs dilating under my eyes lid, how the hell is that even possible? He was appointed yesterday, he can't just come down to California from Norwich because a Maid's daughter refused to pick up his call. Yes, this can't be because of me, and moreover he should be happy I never set my eyes on him, i can't even imagine me standing in front of someone that to my family, I don't care whether he has an idea about it or not, for the fact that all his family member are involved in this illegal action, i dont think a day will come when the hatred am feeling now will change, including Bobby.

I felt a slight push on my shoulder, making to glance up.

" What are you thinking for goodness sake, have been muttering words to you without knowing that you are no longer here," Rachel complained, Instead of replying to her, I just flashed her a weak smile, and that gave me enough time to come up with something.

I hesitated, before talking slowly," Nothing, just thinking about the reason why he was looking for me" I brushed my hair to a side, we are now climbing up the stairs to the second floor, if only Draven was here with us, we would have easily used the Elevator, but since ordinary maid is not allowed, we have no choice than to take the only route provided.

" It looks like you are reading my mind, but is it true that the two of you are dating each other?" Her sudden question made me draw back the leg I was about to place on the next stair.

" What?" I choked out, looking at her dubiously, her expression doesn't change, like she was oblivious of the repercussions of what she just said now. 

" Stella said that you are dating him and the Blonde haired guy, even Anita confirmed that she was saying the truth,"

" Wait, I don't understand something, they said I'm dating him, do you actually think that is possible, remember I am a maid, besides I'm..." I stopped when I couldn't find any sense in why I was doing this, I smirked.

Rachel frowned a little, " But I always see you, the Blonde haired guy and Melanie together," she pointed out. I don't know whether to be angry or not, so most of the maids have been saying different things from their own perspective,I just can't believe all that I am hearing.

Funnily, only Melanie and I are not a University graduate among all the maids in the mansion, you can't be given a job without you being a professional. But since the two of us stayed with our parent in the mansion since when we are a child, it make easier to work with the rest without any kind of certificate being requested, They pity our parents actually.

" Are you two dating one guy?" I scoffed loudly, what did she take me for?'' I hardly talk with any of them, knowing her name is even a miracle because i'm not that close with any of the maids except Melanie, that's why it somehow catch off-guard when she asked me about Bobby, I guess i must have turned to a celebrity in the mansion without me even knowing about my latest status among the Maids.

" I'm not dating any of them neither Melanie have a relationship with any of them, are you okay now" I piqued, the furious tone is quite glaring, and i thought with the way I sounded, she will easily let go of the matter without pushing me further, but I missed it all.

" Good to hear that from you, you know what" 

We climbed up the staircase as fast as we could, and now we are on the second floor.

" What?" I probed.

" I need your help on something if you don't mind" she looked down slowly, avoiding my gaze. This is very frustrating, like very frustrating! 

Only if I had known that she is a lousy type, I wouldn't even let her see me not to talk of calling her with the hope that if we can just be having some casual talk before we reached our destination, to prevent me from thinking about anything. Anyway, she satisfies her purpose, but not in a good way but to make the matter worse, I just can't wait to see Melanie.

" I know you are very close to that Blonde haired, since you are very close to him, can you help me out,I heard he is the Cousin of Bobby, is it true?" Her face lightened up.

" I don't know, what did you need me for?"

" I love him, he is my spec to be sincere" I tried restraining myself from laughing but I didn't know when I burst into a loud roar.
