Chapter 37 What was wrong with Sherry

Hours later

Stark and Walter had both gone out when Sherry woke up from her afternoon nap. They hadn’t told her where, but Althea was in the fields so she wouldn’t be alone. Right now, she just wanted a glass of water.

The physician. She just remembered. Had they gone out to escort him here? She wondered as she pulled on a thin cardigan over her light home clothes and struggled out of bed.

She felt a slight chill come over her. Maybe she was exhausted these days. Just what was wrong with her? Was she just not used to living with Stark away from home? Even then, it was almost a month and she should have adapted herself by now. When she moved to Bangkok, she adapted quickly, so why was her body acting so weird now?

She had barely reached the kitchen when a warm hand on her waist stopped her midway.

“Eve, I need to talk to you, just a few minutes will do.”
