55. Baking
"I am baking cookies for Ariana and Aaron. And before you say I don't have the permission or right to come here, let me tell you, I already asked for your mom's consent." Arabella said with a frown while still not looking at him. She heard his footsteps nearing but she kept her eyes down and kept working.
"That's not what I meant. You always used to bake when you are angry or upset about something. Is that why you are baking now?" Damien asked in a low tone.
She could feel his breath on the bare skin of her neck. She had her hair up in a bun for baking which was exposing her neck more than necessary.
But that also meant he was standing too close to her. But she still didn't show any reaction even though the butterflies in her stomach started doing its magic already. She could feel all the tingling.
