Mum’s surgery

I got to the hospital,when I got in I was told mum was at the theater ward,I ran there quickly,I was so worried. I wasn't allowed to go inside.

The doctor came out of the theater room;Doctor how is my mum doing?,Your mum's better now,she just has to rest,I was so relieved when I heard that mum's better now.Then it occurred to me that I did not pay the bills,Doctor!My mum got the surgery when I did not pay for it.He laughed at my question,Miss Jordan,The bills were sorted out already and besides I really want to thank you,Thank me!I asked suprised,Yes Miss Jordan,Because of you the hospital has new advanced equipments,What are you talking about doc?I'm talking about Mr Hardin Leister,his the one who paid your mum's bills and I got to meet the almighty Hardin Leister because of you.

I stood there dumbfounded by what the doctor said which got me to think of how rich Hardin is.I came back to reality and stood by the window starring at mum,Then I called Rita and Andrew to come to the hospital,When they finally arrived,I ran and hugged both of them,they all starred at me surprised,Well guess what mum just got her surgery done and it was successful.Rita screamed out of excitement,That's good news,Andrew said to me.Adela we should go celebrate so we will be going to the club tonight,Rita you know I've never been to a club.Yh and besides Rita,Adela has to stay with her mum tonight,She just recovered.

They both spent time with me in the hospital,Rita left later saying she's feeling sleepy,Andrew and I were together.How did you get the money for your mum's hospital bill Adela?Andrew asked with wordiness in his eyes.Andrew does that even matter?,All that matters now is that my mum's alive right,I know Adela but I don't want you doing something that you will regret later because of money,Andrew thanks for caring about me but I'm fine.

Adela when you need someone to always talk to,just know that your Andrew is always here,He said and placed a kiss on my forehead,Goodnight,I said to him with a smile on my lips then he left.

I went back to the window of mum's room and starred at her,The doctors still didn't let me in.I went and sat down on the chair outside,I was feeling sleepy when I got a call from an unknown number.Hello,I said on the line;Hello;Good evening Miss Jordan,It's Mr Hardin's PA, I wanted informing you that a car will come to pick you up by 9am tomorrow.Why I asked angrily but he hanged up.
