Who be Thy

I wave goodbye after telling Sally that I'd come play with her again. Racing towards my territory, I smelled unfamiliar scents.

Guessing that was the unknown proxies, I track them down. They were camped in a clearing surrounded by woods. There's about 5 of them and all look very relaxed.

This bothers me because that must mean their operator is nearby. I put up my guard, as one of the proxies leaves the camp.

I keep my main attention on the camp, but I do still have the one that left on my radar. He kept going in one direction then turned and started circling around behind me. Probably thinking that I stopped paying attention to him.

But I had already set my trap for him, and not long after he fell into it. They must have thought that this forest wasn't completely under my control. As they had so flippantly came and are now trying to ambush me.

Then again, because I am in my smaller form and my power is being concealed. They probably think I'm just one of my own proxies sent to monitor them.

After a few minutes, I made my grand entrance.

"Hello," I greet. "Now would one of you mind telling me what you're doing here?"

"Your just a proxy, we will only speak to your operator," one replies, as they get battle-ready.

I just start laughing hysterically, as one charges at me. With great ease, I take him down. Trying him up with roots and branches, using my powers.

The rest are about just as easy. The last comes at me. I bring out my tentacle-like chains, pretty much just like my brother's tentacles. Slamming the proxy against a tree.

"Gah! How?! You're supposed to be just a proxy," they cough up a bit of blood.

"Hahaha, I never said I was a proxy, you're the ones that made that conclusion," I laugh, squeezing them tighter against the tree. "Now, how about you tell me why you are in my territory?"
