Bibliomancer : The Undying Nun and The Big Black Wolf

What is like to live in a world were only the nobles have the right to read and write? More than a millennia ago, a strange form of magic was discovered – Its name was Bibliomancy, the magic of words and books. However, this power came with many prices called calamities which changed the world face forever. There's no men left in the world, and people are attacked by a race of human possessing beings known as angels. Amidst all that, a 15 years old bibliomancer named Alexandra B.B. Wolf set foot on the lower ring of the flying city of Ganymede. She has but one objective: killing 100 angels so that her she can recover her former status as a noble. However, things doesn't turn out the way she expected them to. On her very first day of assignment, she loose all her money, is almost killed by an angel, and then, killed twice by a strange girl in nun's outfit who can read minds and rewind time. Ah, and of course, she must now work as a slave for a witch and learn that her body doesn't work normally anymore (she will now get gradually hornier the more she lacks of sugar which... is bad for a bibliomancer to say the least). However, her master has a good new for her – she will teach her everything she knows about bibliomancy, as long as she actually tries to understand the peoples of the lower ring, especially Shogo, the girl who already killed her twice. But, is it possible for a proud member of the prestigious Wolf lineage like her to even begin to phantom what is going through the head of that emotionless doll? Well, only the future will tell... (True Story – Edit) But what if there's no future? What happens when the "main character" dies, leaving the story unfinished? Shogo knows the answer – the story will start from the true beginning : the 25 of Worldscrown 998 A.N.E. That is the day when Alexandra B.B. Wolf was designed as the new "main character" and decided to set off to the lower ring. However, no matter how much the story has repeated, fate never seemed to allow her to accomplish her destiny, chaining her in an infinite loop of death she is – mostly – unaware of. Trapped with her, is Shogo, a seemingly immortal doll always clad in nun's robe and whose deep feelings for Alexandra push her to protect her no matter how much she has to relive the same storylines. To achieve her goal, she will cheat, lie, and kill, everything and everyone that put themselves the way, even said person. But that's alright... those are just forgettable bad endings... Everything will be okay, because she knows it – one day she will take down fate itself and reach the happy end she wishes for...

MAGA ADDENDUM : Nyatopia VI – Show Me Your Moves!!!

On the night after the witch's departure, a celebration was organized by the girls. Exceptionally, they decided not to work for the following days.

There were some who voiced worries about the Factory reaction to the sudden stop of activity, but they were shot down by a simple and sound argument – the LIBRARY and thus the Factory, would be no more in less than 2 days. Whether or not Sandalphon destroyed the West District, the upper ring was already condemned.

In that case, they might as well take it easy.

The air was alive with energy as the animated celebration came to life in the dark of night. The scene was illuminated by a dazzling array of lights, casting a colorful glow over the festivities. The sound of music filled the air, with a lively beat that encouraged the crowd to dance and move to the rhythm.

In the center of the celebration, a large stage stood tall, adorned with intricate designs and decorations that captured the essence of the event. A group of performers took the stage, dressed in vibrant costumes that sparkled and shimmered in the light. They began to dance and sing, their movements fluid and graceful as they told a story through their performance.

Around the stage, people of all ages gathered, their faces lit up with excitement and joy. They waved their hands in the air, clapping and cheering as the performers continued to captivate them with their artistry. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter and conversation as people connected and shared in the experience.

Shogo too was inside the crowd, however, she wasn't smiling, which worried the others. Holding Alexandra's hand she was still deep in thought, sometimes totally forgetting about the agitation around her.

She did realize the celebration was made so that she could relax, but she couldn't bring herself to do that. She wasn't as unemotive as in the past, but something like a forced smile was beyond her capacity. She wanted to reassure her sisters, but in the current situation that was impossible, not after hearing that SHE was coming.

Rank 9 Angel – Sandalphon of the Golden Kingdom.

Trivia was something, but she was harmless most of the time. She was nice even, going as far as warning her even though she didn't have to. Sandalphon on the other hand was clearly after Alexandra's life.

Shogo could not remember clearly all the loops she went through before this one, but she did remember one thing – she never won against Sandalphon, not even once. In fact, she remembered being genuinely terrified by her.

If the old her was this afraid, then how should she react? She wasn't strong enough to fight Sandalphon and she did vaguely remember there were 2 other high-ranking angels accompanying her at all – At best!

She was the ultimate antagonist, fighting her would definitely result in…

"... a dead end…"

The only way to avoid that would be to escape, but if she brought Alexandra with her, Sandalphon would chase after her. So to survive she had to…

"..."

She held Alexandra's hand tighter.

"—o, Mister Shogo on the scene please!!!"

"Huh?"

A voice echoed, attracting Shogo's attention. It came from the scene were a teenage girl in a two piece swimsuit and belts around her neck, right wrist, and left ankle. From her smugness, her ponytail and her sword, that girl must have been Cruisader. Maybe that was her new costume? She even had a break themed visit cap and all.

"Are you dreaming with your eyes open?! Come on the scene this instant!!"

"Eh? But—"

Before Shogo could fully voice her protest, there were already hands dragging her to the scene.

"This way, Mistress Shogo," one said.

"Maiday?"

"We will take care of Miss Alexandra, you go enjoy yourself," another said.

"Wait, Taylor?!"

"Do you know what a mecha is?"

Shogo's eyes narrowed. "Smith too?"

Quickly, Shogo found herself on the scene, close to Cruisader and the other dancers.

"Ah! Now you ARE wearing something!" Cruisader commented, her sword in front of her.

"Spare me your jokes, will you? What do you want from me?" Shogo asked, nervously pulling her sleeves.

"Me?" Cruisader asked back, pointing at her herself. "Nothing!" she added, before indicating the public with her hand, "They are the one who wants you to show your moves!"

It was true – the public was especially feverish ever since Shogo climbed (was dragged) on the scene. That was to be expected since her participating in such activities was truly a rare sight. Some already acclaimed her even though she hadn't started dancing yet.

Cruisader took a dramatic pose, hiding her left eye with her hand. "Can you feel it? That's the public's FEE.LINGS coursing across our BO.DIES!"

"What is wrong with you today? Ah yes, you are just being you so I will change my question – What is wrong with YOU?"

"Hmhmhm… Well you see…"

Cruisader raised a finger to the sky.

"I."

She put her hands on her shoulders.

"LOVE."

She stretched her hand to Shogo.

"YOU!"

For some reason, it seemed as if she was sparkling. Shogo didn't drink anything today though?

"I am going back to my seat," Shogo said with a blank expression as she turned away.

"Don't worry too much about it. We are for you, you know?"

Shogo turned around, her eyes round from surprise.

Cruisader continued, "We told you, there is no choice to make. We will always follow you, so you just follow your heart."

Shogo's expression darkened for a moment. Follow her heart? That was an easy thing to say for someone like Cruisader – she could blurt whatever she had in mind whenever she wanted, but for someone like Shogo who struggled to just understand them, that was just impossible.

What was she feeling to begin with? She was afraid to fight Sandalphon, but at the same time, she didn't want to give up on Alexandra. Two feelings that contradicted each other – which one was she supposed to follow exactly? She was lost, even more than before.

Cruisader sighed and took Shogo's hands dragging her at the center of the scene.

"Let's just dance, okay? At least for now, just for now, don't think about complicated stuff!"

The girl smiled brightly illuminated by the scene's lights. Still unsure, Shogo opened her mouth as if to say something, but stopped short.

"... just so you know, I am a horrible dancer," she mumbled with a pouty expression and slightly blushing.

"Well, just follow my moves, okay? Like so!"

Just like that, Cruisader started to slowly move – her sword still in her hand for some reason. Her movements were gracious nonetheless, and from her eyes, Shogo could almost hear her scream something like "C'mon! Show me your moves!!!" though she had no idea why such a specific sentence crossed her mind.

Letting another sigh, Shogo resolved to follow Cruisader's moves.

"Aha! See?! You know how to dance actually!!"

"... I am just copying you, nothing more."

"Um, I wonder about that…"

"?"

The crowd suddenly started acclaiming Shogo – she was indeed skillful, each of her moves seemed to convey so much force that it was hard to believe she wasn't a professional.

"When you copy, you are not supposed to do it better than the original, are you?" Cruisader teased.

"I wasn't intending to…"

"Oh but you know, I won't give up just like that!! Leeet's enteeer… Popstar Mooode!!!"

And so, Cruisader started moving faster, startling Shogo at first. As the crowd started, Shogo suddenly felt annoyed. Sure, she wasn't really interested by this, but, well, for some reason, it bothered her.

"I can do that much."

Shogo started perfectly mimicking Cruisader's moves. In fact, that wasn't just a perfect mimicry, that was something a step higher.

"Hmhmhm." Cruisader chuckled and put her sword down. "That is the spirit. C'mon! Show. Me. Your. MOOVES~!!!"

For some reason, she seemed to sparkle again as she took another over the top posture. Shogo seriously started to question her own mental state at the moment, but rather than feel annoyed, she felt rather… amused.

"Here I come!"

"Bring it on!"

The night an epic dance battle took place at the festival's scene. It would probably have been remembered for generations to come, if it wasn't for how the events would unfold afterward.

Trivia : Celebration are nice because there's food and drinks, but there's always someone who wants you to dance. Urgh... I feel tired just by thinking about it.
