Chapter 17: The Escape on an Alien planet.

BOOM!!! With the sound of the explosion a lot of the trees and terrain was lighted with fire and got destroyed.

"RUN FOR THE COVER!!!" Siddhant shouts to his team mates while Asuras never stops blasting the jungle with explosive rays from their eyes.

Siddhant and his team are fighting the Asuras on an Alien Planet in a Jungle. They have been sent out on a mission to retrieve the energy essence on this planet.

Which was supposed to be a simple mission since no Asura planets were near there since they were far from the border of the Asura Galaxy.

So nobody expected to encounter any Asuras here since it was a secret mission assigned to them by the sect.

Siddhant orders his team "Keep running while taking cover, Bharat and Arjun try shielding us from behind while Anjali and Dilip can fire at the Asuras to deal the maximum damage."

They are a five member team in which Siddhant is the captain and Bharat, Dilip, Anjali and Arjun are following orders of Siddhant.

Bharat is very nervous on this mission since this is his first mission of its kind. If he fails or dies somehow then he will never be able to get justice for his family and the society. Life in general is very cruel since he never intended to experience this kind of dangerous mission in the beginning and he wanted to live a very peaceful and happy life with his family and friends. However his belief changed when something happened to his father with whom he was very close and used to spend time and learn new things with him. However he and his family had to leave home due to the injustice done to them by the crime lord of the city and nobody was there to support his case even though everyone knew that he was innocent. The police were corrupt and supported the crime lords instead. There is a saying that the powerful people always bully the weak. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. So Bharat decided to accept this life of an Interdimensional Warrior to become more powerful and then help his family and his parents to return to their respective homes and help the weaker in the society.

Though they were in a jungle and there were a lot of trees and wild terrain for cover and escape however it did not help much since when the Asuras shoot with their explosive rays to attack the nearby trees including the ten meter area of the terrain is completely destroyed by the explosive power.

The only thing in their favor was the shield and the sword weapons which were provided to them by their sect. The shield was made up of some alien energy which could take the impact of the explosive rays and the swords can shoot laser beams which could deal damage to the Asuras apart from the heavy damage which can be provided if the swords were used physically on the Asuras.

 At this point the team of five people was getting chased by almost twenty Asuras because they had come unprepared since they never expected to face them in the first place.

The mission was almost a success since they were successful in collecting the energy essence and stored it in the Blue Box.

Blue box is a type of special storage box only to contain different types of energy essences. Energy essence cannot be contained in a normal metal box or any other way. Because the essence will escape from the ordinary box and get diluted in the surrounding environment. Once that happens it will almost become impossible to collect it since the energy essence will become impure and it will actually harm the body or the person may die if someone forcefully tries to absorb it.

However after collecting and storing the energy essence they were just getting relaxed and getting back to the ship when the attack from the Gold fishes happened and after that the Asuras attacked once they came on the sea shore.

It seems Asuras had some spies of their own in the middle of the humans or some humans had betrayed them by leaking the information to the Asuras of their current mission. So something had to be done to save the situation otherwise the whole team was going to end up dead or prisoned.

They kept on getting chased by the Asuras despite many of the team members getting injured on the way.

Finally Bharat volunteered to stay behind to keep the Asuras at bay so that his other team members could escape via the space ship.

In the beginning no one liked the idea of letting one of the team mates get left behind, however they also knew someone has to do this in order to save the others or the whole team is going to get killed.

Bharat accepts the decision while taking cover behind a big stone while the rest escape from the scene one by one to reach the spaceship.

Apart from the shield and the sword Bharat also had very good strength which was at the peak of the Human level and his speed was near to super Human through which he could dodge Bullets however this kind of strength and speed was nothing when compared to the Asuras.

Bharat kept on shooting laser beams at his enemies constantly to keep them at bay. He knew that he was only fighting the low level Asuras so the threat was not so high if he manages to keep them at bay while his team can escape or if possible send the reinforcement.

In the meantime his team tries to reach the spaceship as quickly as possible so that they can send signals to the sect to send more reinforcements.

Siddhant was very nervous while he kept on shouting at his team "Guys Hurry up!!! We have to reach the ship so that we can send signals to the sect. The success of the mission and Bharat's life depends on it."

Once they reached the spaceship they went in and sent the signal however there was no response on the communicator. Siddhant and the team were baffled by this.

Siddhant gets worried and says "What happened to this communicator? It seems that the emergency signal is not getting sent."

Arjun frowns "It seems like the signal is getting blocked even though the atmosphere is also getting changed".

Anjali exclaims "Look outside the spaceship window it seems the middle level Asuras are coming and more enemy spaceships are coming".

Everyone on the spaceship had a shocked expression since all of them were aware of what it means if the middle levels Asuras are coming.

They will be overpowered and killed if they do not launch the spaceship now. So Captain Siddhant makes the decision to escape.

Arjun asks "What about Bharat? Are we going to leave him here in the clutches of the Asuras? This is his first mission and he will not be able to dodge or escape them for much longer".

Siddhant says "I cannot risk the life of the whole team for just one guy. It has always been like this: we have to sacrifice one person's life if that can save the whole team. Bharat will be a Martyr and his family will be taken care of by the sect. So do not question me anymore and prepare the ship to get launched now. This is my order."

Arjun says "Yes captain!"

Arjun was not at all convinced with the decision of the captain since Bharat was his roommate and friend in the sect and closest in the team. However he could not do anything once he had been officially ordered by the captain. Since if he disobeys his captain's orders then he will be severely punished and could be removed from his position and the team. So he followed the order of his captain unwillingly with his teammates.

On the planet near the big rock boulder Bharat keeps cover behind the big rock and kept firing laser beams on the Asuras to contain them as long as he can to buy time for his teammates.

Bharat thinks in his heart "If the team can send signals to the sect quickly and can bring reinforcements then the situation can be improved."

All of a sudden he can feel the change in the atmospheric pressure in the environment of a freezing cold temperature.

He could see a Giant spaceship in the sky which was coming and about to land.

He knew that this kind of atmospheric change of freezing cold temperature can be brought about by the middle level Asuras only.

Though he was new and this was his first mission he had a good knowledge about the enemies since he has been already briefed and instructed by the academy in the sect so he already knew that it was going to be the end of his life since no one could save him if the middle level Asuras really come and land on this planet now.

Bharat gets emotional since he knew that now he was going to die and sit behind the big boulder rock. He thinks about his parents and friends that he will never be able to see them again also he will never be able to get justice for his family or do any good in the society which was his wish and that is never going to be fulfilled now that he was going to die so he thinks of his past and remembers how in his childhood there was a very similar kind of incident he faced when he had to do the same exact thing which he did now by sacrificing his life to save his team members and in his childhood he put his life in danger to save his childhood friends and his whole life gets played in front of his eyes like a movie.
