Chapter 3: Problems and solutions

King and Pain sat in a bar eating dinner "I'm tired" *Pain says "When are you not tired" King says back, they both stood up and walked to find a place to sleep, as they exited the bar they bumped into a teen with green hair they both stared at the teen before walking off, the teen ran off smiling "They didn't suspect a thing" *He says with King's money in his hand, as he was beginning to get away with the money King and Pain stood in front of him. He looked up to King with fear in his eyes as King looked down to him with pure anger, "Hey is there something wrong?" The teen stuttered as he stepped back King began to get a little closer, "There is a big problem, it seems you have something of mine and I want it back" King said with hatred in his voice Pain stood behind King with a grin on his face. "It would be best if you just hand over the money you stole from us, my friend here has patience but I don't so please spare us the trouble of getting physical" the teen looked at both of them with complete fear as he handed them the money.

As King and Pain began to walk off the teen spoke "If possible could I ask for your services" King and Pain both stopped and turned to the teen "I'll give you two minutes" King said "My name is Brodon Vangar, my home is in danger I came here to acquired the services of the Karma League but they refused me due to me not bringing any money" Brodon cried. "So you stole from us instead of asking us for money or even better, help" King said, Brodon bowed to King "Please we are scientist creating a cure for the one's who became sick after the moon's explosion but those damn Umigo's won't stop attacking us" (Umigo's a beast that was born on the Moon's death they have 2 tails, a long jaw with around 35 teeth, they walk on 4 legs, and are about 7'4 they are dangerous beast that run in a pack feeding on humans the beast also have a good sense of smell with thermal vision so yes they are threat's) "We will help only on one condition" Pain said, Brodon looked at Pain with confusion "All you have to do is join our crew" Pain said as King looked at Pain with confusion, "Well if you want him to join us he must have something that interest you" King said to Pain, Brodon nodded in agreement as they all began to walk off.

The group reached Brodon's home town it was run down, destroyed, and reeked of blood "Is this really where you live" King asked "Yes it is sorry for it being in such a state we've been getting attacked almost everyday now and the number of Umigo's continue to grow with each attack" Brodon replied, the group began to notice people hiding and running away when they made eye contact "Why do they fear us" Pain asked Brodon, "Truth is they expect you to be mean and cruel to them the visitors we usually get are harsh and kick us around due to our little village being in poverty" Brodon replied as they headed into an old church.

Xero and Cynix sat in their room, Cynix watched outside the window while Xero kept an eye on the girl they saved, "So do you think she'll ever wake up" Cynix asked "Maybe, maybe not who knows, we are running out of time so let's make her wake up ourselves" Xero said holding up his hand, as he did a black ball with a purple core began forming in his hand he slowly pushed that ball into the girl waking her up almost immediately. "Welcome back" Xero said to the girl "Where am I" the girl asked Xero, "You're in a inn that I paid for, you should be grateful" Xero replied "I never asked for your help" She said attempting to sit up "Actually you did, you asked us to help your family and to help your family we need to help you" Cynix replied Xero then gave Cynix a signal to calm down, Cynix looked back out the window keeping an eye out for guards who could be looking for the two.

The girl and Xero continued their conversation Xero found out her name and what the situation was apparently the girls name is Kookie and her home town is rapidly being attack by Umigo's (Sounds familiar right) and she has no idea why not even the people living there know why, but most of them have a clue ever since the scientist showed up there Umigo's have been attacking they just don't know why. "I'll figure out your Umigo problem till then she need to head to your village and get your family out of there" Xero said to Kookie, Kookie nodded in agreement as the three began packing for the trip. Cynix took a deep breath "Another Long trip what a bother".

A 5 person group appeared at the inn Xero, Cynix, and Kookie slept in, "Did someone come in and pay a large amount of money to stay the night here?" The leader of the group asked the owner of the inn and she replied with "Yes it was two male teenagers with a girl who was badly hurt, they paid with a platinum Dragonblood coin" The group left the inn and began heading the way Xero, Cynix, and Kookie went "We of the Karma League will not be outclassed!"
