While Lucien and the Apostle were examining the wall, Silvana and Hunter were keeping guard at the front of the pack

"What is taking them so long? Have they never seen a damn wall before?... Hunter tell them to hurry up would ya"

"..."

"Hunter?"

Silvana turned around, Hunter was too busy focused staring down the hallway to hear what she had just said.

"What's wrong?"

"....."

"Do you...Do you see someone?"

"Not someone...something"

Both Silvana and Hunter were now both looking down dark passageway. Slowly but surely a light began to appear in the distance, two red orbs that became larger and larger it was the only thing giving off even an ounce of light. Whatever it was it has to be relatively huge as they could feel the ground give a slight vibration with each step it took.

"Grand Priestess...what is that?"

Silvana studied what she was seeing for a brief moment...then it hit her, she has seen something like this before.

"Alright Silvana, time to switch"

Silvana, still very much asleep was laying under her sisters blazer at the back of the wagon. Silvana,Draken,Lucien and Zaranah were tasked with providing security for a relatively large cargo that was being transported from the Kingdom of Elysium to a neighbouring village.

"Come on silly, it's your turn to keep watch"

"..."

"Silvana"

"..."

"SILVANA!"

Silvana got up so fast that her head smashed into the lantern that was hung on the ceiling of the wagon

"OOOUUUCHH! FUCK! IM UP!"

Silvana began rubbing her eyes and let our her last yawn.

"Good Morning Grand Priest is it that time already?"

"Morning? it is VERY much the evening"

"Evening?"

Silvana turned around to pull back the curtain of the wagon. It was almost nightfall.

"I took watch for an extra hour to give you some more time to rest"

"Oh-...thank you Grand Priest"

Draken pointed at Zaranahs blazer

"Do you think your sister would be mad if i borrowed that"

"Nope knock yourself out"

Silvana swapped places with Draken, taking a position in the front of the wagon next to the chauffeur guiding the horses. There were three wagons in the convoy. The one at the front housed Lucien and Zaranah, the one in the middle had the cargo they were transporting and at the rear was Drakens and Silvanas wagon. They had been traveling for almost 2 days at this point.

Silvana felt every bump, nook and cranny on the road they were travelling on as they carefully navigated the now almost pitch black forest.

"So how long you been working at the palace?"

"Around about 2 months" the chauffeur responded.

"What about you lady Silvana? How long have you been a Guardian?"

"Going on four years now, although to be honest it feels like less then half that"

The sound of the galloping horse and slow breezing wind made Silvana drowsy, she once more was struggling to keep awake.

"You know what...is it okay if i take a short nap?"

"Sure, it wont be long till we reach the village. I shall awake you upon arrival"

"Perfect"

"Wait"

"Huh? Whats wrong?"

"Whats that?"

The chauffeur pointed into the distance.

Further on the path there appeared to be

Two

Floating

Red

Orbs.

"Maybe it's fireflies? They're abundant on this side of the forest"

"Fireflies glow white not red"

"Actually the lavas glow red, and look it's already disappearing"

It's true, the glow was starting to fade till eventually it was gone.

Silvana Smiled

"See, nothing to worry about"

"I suppose so..."

"Alright, don't forget to wake me up"

That day...Silvana recognised those floating glowing orbs because of that day...the day that haunts her the most.

"JUST KIDDING! Don't even lie! I totally got you didn't I? But man these fireflies really are all over the place am I right?"

Hunter began laughing, he was completely under the impression that those were indeed fireflies. He had acted so dramatic to try and scare Silvana.

"Uhh, Silvana? It's a joke man... those are just fireflies...why do you look so serious?"

"Those aren't flies... THEY'RE EYES!

Silvana's yell caught the attention of everyone, specifically the Apostle. She stopped examining the wall and turned her attention towards Silvana

"EYES!?DID YOU JUST SAY EYES!?"

Athena shoved Lucien out of the way, squinting to try and see what was happening further down the hallway. She went from shock and confusion to pure terror.

"SILVANA, HUNTER! KILL THAT FUCKING THING BEFORE-"

"Do not worry, I can assure you my Chimera has no intention of harming any of you...unless of course you strike them first"

A new voice filled the air. It was distorted to make it unrecognizableuse clearly a type of mancery was in place. The red eyes were nowhere to be seen, all the Guardians were on high alert and at this point had created a circle around the apostle.

Everyone was uneasy and unsure of what was going to happen next.
