Chapter seventeen : suffering

As I lay there I hear medics rushing around me panicking and I can feel that I am being rushed to the hospital I also hear gun shots thinking to myself " he's still alive how is he still alive kill him!". As I give it up to them to keep fighting I finally and caught off guard by being pulled out of the darkness but I can almost not hear anything it's all muffled with some blurry vision to see people all around me I try to understand what there saying as it slowly gets better. I try to speak but it becomes to hard to speak because of my throat they tell me to not use up my voice because of my neck so I just sit there I struggle to breath as they give me oxygen. They give me a newspaper to read and as I am I noticed a article on the front taking of what took place at the base announcing that the base has been moved and how many people were injured or killed I find my eyes looking at how many were killed and notice that half the base base was dead because of this man........ no not a man a monster someone who's not even human. I read the article to see that they shot him dead to the ground and I suddenly felt a wave of calm rush over me just knowing he's gone.
