Chapter 19 A Pact With The Devil

Jasper’s POV

The she-wolf dashed towards the woods recklessly, in an attempt to hide from me. I laughed, walking after her.

Her left knee was already too wounded to make it far. Realizing that she couldn’t run, she walked, limping.

Soon, she tripped on a branch falling, still not giving up trying to push her way up from the ground. My high was gone and now I was upset.

Who allowed such weak things to even dare enter this competition? Despicable.

Once I was close enough I grabbed her by the hair, pulling her, her screams echoing through the whole place. I dragged her behind me. She kicked endlessly to no avail.

Once we were at an open space I flung her aside. Through the corner of my eyes I watched her try to get up, reaching a blade inside her pocket. In annoyance I stomped on her face, irritated.

My anger brew more and I continued, kicking her in her chest and on her wounded leg.
