Chapter 4

"You just got home, Mas? Here's the briefcase, let me carry it," Maira said, smiling, her hand already wanting to take the briefcase that was in her husband's hand.

"No need, I still have my own hands."

Aris pushed her hand away from holding his briefcase. He immediately stepped into the house with quick steps. Meanwhile, Maira continued to follow him from behind just to apologize.

"Mas, please forgive me. I know I was wrong," Maira said still trying to apologize to her husband. She would not give up on getting an apology from her own husband.

"I don't need your forgiveness, you better leave this house."

Aris didn't need his wife's apology anymore, all he wanted was for her to leave his house. How many times had Aris said that to his own wife.

"Mas, don't kick me out of this house. I promise I will change," said Maira, she did not want to leave this house before she got the property from her husband. There was no way she could just leave her husband's house like that. Without getting anything from her husband.

"I have given you the opportunity to change many times, but what? You are still in contact with that man," Aris explained with a sharp look, it looked like Maira's face was scared. But the truth was that Maira was not afraid of her husband at all.

"I promise this is the last time I will change, don't you feel sorry for our family. What if they knew we were separated? They would be disappointed to see us fighting like this," Maira said putting on her best face, so that her husband would look at her with pity. But in reality, he didn't feel sorry for her at all.

"I'm not the type of person who gives multiple chances, I only give you a third chance. If you have violated the third chance, it means you have to leave this house."

Aris looked away, he was not a man like out there who always gave his wife a thousand chances.

His principle was that when he was betrayed or hurt by his wife. He would just throw her away, not caring about what his family would say later.

"Mas, please forgive me just this once, I promise to be a good wife. Or you need to confiscate my cell phone so that I don't have any more contact with Arga."

Maira promised her husband not to get close to the man again. Even though in fact it was the same, Maira was still in contact with that man again.

Maira told her husband, if she was willing to have her cell phone confiscated by her own husband. Aris thinks he doesn't need to open up his own wife's privacy. All he wanted was for his wife to take care of her husband's feelings.

Aris bulged his eyes, while looking at his wife with a sharp gaze. Aris immediately walked up the stairs, his body was tired and just needed to rest in his room.

"Mas, wait a minute," said Maira as she saw her husband leave.

"Gosh, why is Aris so hard to persuade!" Maira muttered, not knowing what else to do to make her husband believe in her. She was just afraid, if her family knew all about her behavior.

This dark night, there was a woman who was daydreaming on the balcony of her room. With her arms around herself, she remembered the words of her brother.

Was it true what her brother said not to get close to other men. Other than only the man chosen by her brother.

There was no way she could continue to obey her brother's wishes, while her parents had never forbidden her to be close to anyone.

Nayla thinks she is an adult, she doesn't want to be restrained by her brother all the time. He also has his own decision, how long will he continue to follow what his brother says.

In 2019, where Nayla is dating a man who is so handsome. The man is Rudi who has made Nayla fall in love.

Nayla first met Rudi when she was at her friend's house. Every day Nayla played at Raina's house, where she saw the man always coming to Raina's house.

Nayla found out that he was Raina's best friend. This made Nayla tell Raina everything. That she really liked the man, Raina immediately matched the two of them.

A few days later Nayla and Rudi were dating. They both lived happily, Nayla once asked Rudi. If he also liked her, we always went out every day.

However, every time we went out Rudi always brought his best friend too. It made Nayla a little jealous, why did Rudi bring Raina every time we walked together.

A few days later, Nayla saw Rudi and Raina in a restaurant. She couldn't believe why they were both there.

"What's wrong with you Nay?" Brother Riko said as he saw his sister stop walking and look at someone from behind.

"I feel like I'm seeing Raina and Rudi," said Nayla, she thought she saw her boyfriend with his friend too.

"You just saw it wrong, sister," said Bang Riko, maybe his brother had just seen it wrong. There was no way her boyfriend would be in the mall like this.

"No Brother, I'm sure I saw Raina and Rudi. Brother, let's go to the car first, I want to find the two of them."

Nayla remained adamant that she really did see her boyfriend with another woman. She intended to follow her boyfriend with the woman, so that she would no longer be curious.

Nayla asked her brother to go to the car first. Later she would follow him to the parking lot. If she didn't follow him, she would be even more curious.

"Yes, Abang go to the car first," said Bang Riko, walking back to the parking lot first.

Nayla quickly followed a man and a woman who had just entered a restaurant.

When Nayla entered the restaurant, she was surprised to see Rudi holding Nayla's hand. They both sat at a table that was still empty.

"No, this can't be. You're so bad, Mas," Nayla muttered, seeing her lover with her own friend.

So, all this time her friend had betrayed her. Since when have the two of them had a relationship like this. Nayla was sure, they must have had a relationship for a long time.

Nayla immediately entered the restaurant, following the two of them from behind. She was afraid of being caught by her boyfriend and his friend.

"Honey, what do you want to eat?" asked Rudi while gently stroking Nayla's hair.

"What do you want to eat? What's the most delicious food, Mas?" replied Raina, still feeling confused about what to eat at the moment. She asked her boyfriend for his opinion.

"Sushi seems good, dear," suggested Rudi, opening the food menu on the table. He saw a dish that he thought was very delicious.

"Ok, I'll have that, Mas." Raina just nodded her head. She agreed for her boyfriend to eat only sushi.

"Rai, what about my relationship with Nayla?" asked Rudi, wanting to ask his girlfriend about her relationship with his girlfriend's friend.

"Mas, please don't break up your relationship."

Raina begged her lover not to break up her relationship with her friend. She just didn't want to make Nayla sick one day, if Rudi dared to break up the relationship between the two of them.

"But Rai, I don't love him. If she finds out, how are we dating Rai!" Rudi explained that he didn't love Nayla at all. He was only dating her because of Raina's request.

"Mas, please don't tell her. I just don't want her to be disappointed, I'm doing this because I want to make her happy too."

Raina continued to plead with her lover not to hurt her friend. She just wanted to make Nayla happy, even if it was the wrong way.

"Yes, she is happy, but I also feel bad for her. If she knew, she would be angry with us Rai."

Rudi thought his girlfriend's friend would be happy. But he felt guilty about Nayla. It was the same as hurting her feelings.

Nayla who was still standing in her hiding place, she listened to the conversation between the two of them. So, all this time Rudi had been dating her only out of pity.

Really, it made her feelings hurt so much. She did not expect that her lover and friend had betrayed her.

"I'll think about it later, Mas," Raina said, she would think again.

Raina was only afraid of hurting her friend's feelings, there was no way she would admit to Nayla. That she had a relationship with her boyfriend.

Nayla, fed up with their behavior, walked straight up to them with a very angry look.

"Oh, so you guys are in a relationship?" Nayla scolded, making them both very surprised to see her in this restaurant.

How could Nayla be in the mall, could she have been following them from the beginning. Raina was so panicked, she didn't know what to do. While her friend was already in front of herself.
