Ch2. Awaken

After sleeping for a while, Jin woke up smaller spirits slept on him, along his arms, legs, and head.

"Come on guys it's time to find something to eat"

Jin looked at the spirits being lazy and laughed slightly. Tickling a few on his chest along with the one on his forehead, it made noises as it tried to use its nonexistent teeth to bite on his finger only to end up latching on it.

"So now you're going to be like that, it hurts my feelings"

Jin faked sadness while making a face, the spirit let go and rubbed its small body on the finger showing it was sorry.

"It's fine you coming? It's time to have a little fun"

Jin smiled at the spirit and rubbed its head. Standing the spirits made happy noises, jin ran to the side of the large floating island and jumped off. Falling through the clouds jin felt free as he yelled out. When he looked down there were lands that had a dark aura coming off it along with luscious green lands where large spirits roamed. Jin getting close to the rocks floating under the island manipulated gravity at his hands and did a handstand. Flipping back and forth from rock to rock as he spun before free falling again.

"I can't lie this place is beautiful"

Jin talked to himself watching all the small spirits hanging on to his clothes. Before floating as his left leg was inches from the ground.

"The deep forest should have pi'ming fruit and orange apples I think that should hold me for a while"

Jin spoke to himself while figuring out a Direction to take, looking down at his spirit friend she pointed to the deep forest trying to pull Jin.

"Alright, alright the deep forest it is let's go"

Jin patted her head before running towards the forest. The other little spirits floated back up as the deep forest was no place for them. Not all spirits are good not all are evil some just no longer care. The deep forest is where evil and uncaring spirits loved to sleep at peace in the forest.

"There's some..along with a stingray snake spirit, this should be interesting"

Jin couched on top of a twisted tree, rubbing his chin he watched as the large spirit sat at the bottom of the massive half crystal tree. Holding his hand out to pull the fruit over to him. The spirit immediately looks up to Jin and made a hissing noise in anger flying at Jin as light shot out of its mouth. Jumping while doing a spinning backflip rotating with wind and applying a little repelling force in it. The light hit and shot in different directions hitting trees around the area, landing on the ground backflipping to avoid the tail, and jumped towards the creature landing on the top of it.

"I am sorry I did not mean to anger you, I know you find comfort in the tree glow. I only wanted a few fruits forgive me"

Jin placed his hand on the spirit's head and felt why it was angry. The spirit does not like the darkness so it lays in the tree's glow thinking that Jin wanted to make it leave it lashed out. The spirit felt that Jin did not want to hurt it and understood being scared of the dark, it started to pulse with green light happy and approving.

"Thank you gentle spirit I will not bother your rest again"

Jumping down from the spirit after speaking those words Jin moved deeper in only to be knocked back as the island sent out pulses until a large beam of light shot into the sky.

"Holy shit! Is it time?!"

Without thinking, Jin jumped flying high up as he shot towards the bright light. Getting close he saw the spirits all spinning and making noises of happiness. The light caused the rift to open for one-way travel. Jin looked on as the light morphed itself into a three-eyed balanced owl. Its body was split with the dark and light, walking up jin placed his hand on it as the dark overtook the light.

"Light can take the form of darkness, that being said darkness can take the shape of light"

Jin spoke these words knowing the black spirit did this to test people's hearts, there is not color to show what is truly good or evil it is what lurks in their hearts that shows you the truth.

"Nice to see you again old firend"

Jin said to the owl as he was pulled into that same world from long ago.
