25 - Unfortunate Fate of Baron Barkemy

The City of Arkanglsk indeed has a baron as per the Imperial laws as the city was under a single family for centuries who remained unchanged.

But misfortune spelled onto the barony in the form of religion which spread like wildfire inside the city and soon turned into a religious hotspot as at first it felt normal but later the baron realised he began to lose his grip on the power.

He contacted the count who rejected him as the count was in cahoots with the church as he tried to reach Duke who ignored him.

The only way he could inform the higher ups was through the parliament but unfortunately he was unable to do so due to the church using his children as hostage. He was threatened as he couldn't risk losing his heirs and end the bloodline which has stayed strong for so long.

He held back as watching the whole religious order take over his city as at least he could preserve his own bloodline.
