Bear fight

I had reached the underground. It looked exactly how it looked the other day. I wanted to go on an expedition. I didn't have to join a group but it was safer. There was safety in number.

But what I came here wasn't for safety. I had come to gain battle experience. I needed to put myself in dangerous situations so that I could become stronger. Having a group negated that effect. This was going to be dangerous for me.

I rented out a car for 3,000 dollars the day. If this man rented cars for 3,000 a day he must make a lot of money.

For 3,000 dollars I got a car, the crates in the back that shrink objects and extra fuel in case I run out.

The car was a small 4 seater armored mustang. Mustangs were not that expensive in this world it seemed.The front view window was blocked by a piece of metal armour. It blocked everything but what was amazing was the camera. The camera was attached on top of the metal armour which was connected to a hologram that was in front of me.

The hologram played for me under the windscreen as the metal armour blocked everything. I could see everything normally as if there was not a giant armour on the windscreen. Such technology was incredible and I only wished something like this existed back on earth.

I got in the car and drove of. I drove on a Murray road that lots of other cars were on. This was the road that led people to the outside without any detection. It would lead them straight to where they wanted. Either to the monster territory, creature territory, animal territory and for those that dared beast territory.

I was headed for the animal territory. I wanted to fight normal animal not monsters that defied the laws of physics. I wanted to start of slow and fight with bears, gorrila's and the likes and not dragons. I don't even think that a dragon would be interested in eating me but still it would be terrifying. Also even it didn't want to eat me it wouldn't have any problems with squashing me like a bug.

Dragons had giant bodies while humans had small bodies. Chasing a human would cause it to waste its valuable energy and even if it did catch or eat me, it would not recover the original energy it. The calories in a human body was not enough to keep it going.

I spent my time driving the car slowly, I wasn't in any rush. It was only 8 o'clock in the morning. I had a lot of time on my hands. I had enough time to go for a joyride. It's not every day that you get to drive a mustang. I only understood then why the guy had decided to give me spare petrol. He had anticipated this.

I managed to reach the animals wildlife habitat. It was a large dense forest. There were several rivers that ran around it and connected to a lake. It was a beautiful scenery. Woodland photographers would be going crazy about this place.

I was carrying the revolver gun and the assault shotgun that Aliza had given me in case of an emergency. No matter how perfect a plan was there would always be something that would fuck it up.

Rain would ruin a picnic, the murder of a single person could lead to a nationwide protest and even a small bit of drugs in your possession could ruin your life.

I had parked the car behind a Bush. I covered it with branches and leaves. Luckily for me the car had a camo based livery. It was easier for me to hide it. The only problem was the black tires. It stood out so I had to spend some extra time covering it.

I searched for a while before I finally encountered a bear. It didn't notice my presence which was surprising. Animals were known for their good senses. Deers and antelopes could sometimes sense predators so they would run away.

I recovered my breath that had ran out of my body when I saw the bear. It was a grizzly bear with very dark brown fur. Grizzly bears would only attack when provoked, caught off guard or hungry and right now I was going to tick two of those boxes.

I did not know where my current strength lay. I needed to fight this bear to find out where I was.

I made a loud noise which notified the bear of my presence. It glared at me with anger in its eye. It seemed like I had disturbed its sleep.

The bear charged at me and I braced myself. I didn't budge I only stared at it right back in its eye. I had heard that you could stare a bear down and it would back of. I was going to test this theory that was all.

My heart was pounding and I was really scared. The bear got closer and closer and just as it was a few metres away it roared and stood up on its hind legs. If I could describe the fear that I was feeling then I would not find a word in the English dictionary for it. It was just really scary.

I still stared it down and did not back of despite the fear that I was feeling. I had come here to gain battle experience. I had to start of easy and a grizzly was just that, easy. A grizzly bear was an easy difficulty boss. If I struggled with this then it would be harder for me to face a normal difficulty boss.

I charged at the bear that was still standing on it's two hind legs and moved behind it. I grabbed it by the fur flipped it over onto the ground with a suplex. I then punched it's snout and got of it. That was really terrifying. The fear I had felt was similar to when I threw a sandal at a spider and it missed. That was why i had gotten of it. I cursed myself for getting of its body.
