I REPEAT MYSELF GO GET ME THE DAGGER

"inside the cave? It's already dark. Besides…Liam, I need to see Liam." she stated turning back to leave when she remembered her brother.

"stop this" he held her. "Liam is fine. I'm sure…but he won't be fine for long, Including the both of us. That's if we leave here without that dagger. It's the only thing that can ensure our safety from my father" James said lowly. He looked around and brought her closer to the giraffe topiary. "you need to crawl in now…please" he pleaded.

"did you leave it inside that cave?" Sandra asked sternly. There was no need to prolong this but she was hesitant to go back into that creepy cave. She wanted to get the item and see her sick brother.

"no... I left it close by" he replied sincerely.

Sandra nodded and reluctantly went under the giraffe topiary "I didn't even notice when you dropped it. it was like you knew they were waiting there for us and that's why you asked me to get the other dagger" Sandra said crawling under the topiary.

"it was obvious they would come after us after that guard left with Liam. I have been conscious of them ever since" James said crawling out "don't worry I will explain it to you later". He raised his hand and pushed some branches at the butt of the giraffe topiary and brought out the dagger.

"wow, you're not that dumb. I must say" Sandra complimented, surprised that he hid it at the giraffe topiary.

"and now, you acted a little bit wise…no drama" he complimented back, referring to the fact she crawled back in without being such a fussy. He looked around and found a piece of wood that was as long as the blade of the dagger. He made it to fit on the sharp edge of the dagger.

"what are you doing?" Sandra asked curiously wondering what he was up to.

"making sure it doesn't cut through your bag and fall off" he replied and walked to her back, opened her bag pack and gently placed the dagger in her bag and then zipped it up. "ladies first" he stretched out his hand and gestured towards the giraffe's posterior end with his hand.

Meanwhile the guards that had forcefully snatched the fake dagger from James happily matched out from the maze of topiary through the back gate, leaving the mansion's premises completely, preparing to stop a cab. But a man dressed in black suit gracefully walked up to them and stood in from of the gibberish guard who was in the middle of his co-workers.

with his head held high he looked down at the hand of the gibberish guard with which he held the dagger. The dagger was wrapped with a brown cloth. The man stretched out his palm and said "hand it over".

Recognizing the man as Mr. Margate's secretary. the gibberish guard spoke back at him with arrogance "why should I? we were instructed to deliver it to Mr. Margate at his private villa".

"there will be no need for that. He is here" the man in black suit said as he turned and looked at the black benz car parked across.

The guards followed his gaze. Immediately the gibberish guard sighted his car. He matched passed the man and said "than I will hand it over to him myself" while his co-workers followed behind him.

The window of the passengers' seat at the back left side of the car slowly wound down revealing the face of Mr. Margate as they approached the car. He was calm and composed as his cold eyes were fixed on the wrapped dagger on the guard's hand.

With a large smile on the gibberish guard's face "good evening sir" he greeted Mr. Margate, bowing his head along with his co-workers.

Mr. Margate returned the greeting with a smile pestered on his face as well, the speed at which his face changed from a stone cold fish to a good man of charisma was applaudable. "Donte…I made the right decision by sending you on this mission" he smiled widely exposing his white set of teeth.

The gibberish guard referred to as Donte by Mr. Margate laughed out loud proudly and said "sir, you over praise me. it was only easy to collect it from young master because he was alone. the girl wasn't a threat" he responded taking all the glory to himself. He handed the wrapped dagger to Mr. Margate with both hands and his head bowed to show respect. He was grinning from ear to ear.

Mr. Margate gently collected the dagger. First he identified where the handle was and held it from there. He was surprised that the clothe that wrapped the dagger wasn't sliced at all but he ignored it. he gently unwrapped the clothe with a devious smile on his face which instantly turned cold when he got a glimpse of the handle of the dagger.

He quickly unwrapped the dagger hoping that his suspicion was wrong but it wasn't. Donte got the wrong dagger! His raised his face and stared at Donte fiercely with eyebrows knitted into knot in furry and threw the dagger at Donte in the next second.

But Donte was quick enough to have dodged it. He wasn't expecting that reaction from Mr. Margate. What infuriated him? With horror reflecting in his eyes he looked at the direction which the dagger flew and found it stuck on the arm of his fellow guard behind him.

Blood was slowly dripping out from the guard's arm where the dagger had stuck. The Guard held his arm grieving in pain but didn't have the courage to cry out seeing Mr. Margate in that state. Donte slowly looked back at Mr. Margate in fear wondering what might be the matter. Did they get the wrong dagger? Only to meet Mr. Margate dreadful eyes. He didn't have the courage to speak up.

Mr. Margate opened the door forcefully, he got down and flew his hand across Donte's face "where did you get this?" he shouted into the quiet night furiously. he sneered as he thought of something to say. Not waiting for a response, he added while glaring furiously at Donte "you fool. You were fooled and you had the guts to stand before me…rubbish!".

Donte didn't utter a word. His head was down using his side eyes to stare at his follow guards who stood behind him.

"where is James?" Mr. Margate asked with a blood shot eyes staring at Donte. If his eyes were like lasers which seemed like it would go off any second, Donte would have been an incremented body.

"ahm… we…we" Donte stammered. He had lost every bit of his arrogance the moment Mr. Margate stepped down from his car

"speak up fool!" Mr. Margate shouted impatiently.

"there… we…" Donte was finding it extremely difficult to talk. The kind of fear that consumed in him made his tongue go numb.

Without wasting time Mr. Margate brought out a gun that he was left hidden in his pant and shot Donte at his head. He shifted his blood shot eyes to the guard (the injured guard) next to Donte aiming the gun at him. he didn't have all day. the dagger he has been striving to get, now it is finally out of the cave he still didn't have it due to the incompetent fools he sent.

"we left them unconscious in front of the giraffe topiary" the wounded guard reported quickly even faster than the world's best rapper. He was afraid he would be the next person to die seeing that the gun was aimed at him.

Mr. Margate brought down the gun with a smile on his face as he heard the guard clearly. "nice…nice" he hysterically said. The fact that they left James unconscious was something he was happy to hear. He still had opportunity to obtain the item. "Now go get it. if you don't find it bring them to me" he added cheerfully like he wasn't upset or committed murder few moments ago.

Seeing that Mr. Margate took down his gun, the guard immediately began to catch his breath which he had held in when Mr. Margate released a bullet at Donte. He looked down at the lifeless body at his side and was horrified. Assuming he wasn't able to open his mouth he would have been in that state.

Mr. Margate looked at the guard with charisma and asked "what's your name?"

"Pascal…sir" the wounded guard replied swallowing the last drop of spit that was left in his mouth. fear had made his mouth dry. Even the fear was holding him back to speak but he didn't bulge. he knew what the consequences would be if he had delayed in answering Mr. Margate. He would end up like Donte.

"then Pascal, I repeat myself go get me the dagger" Mr. Margate said sweetly as he entered his car but his expression has once again become cold.

Without hesitation, Pascal ran off with the two other guard. They were all speechless.

"clean this up Edward" Mr. Margate instructed his secretary who stood indifferently throughout the whole situation. Edward bowed and closed his door.
