Chapter 127.. crutches thirteen days before her

"She met with an accident ,a fatal one ."Greg breath hard almost trembling .

"Who ? Who met with an accident ? Greg ,say something ,at least ! "Criza's heart almost jumped into her stomach out of anxiety and fear because of her brother's reaction .

"Mona did ,she met with a fatal accident .I couldn't save her ,I was just following right after her car but she lost me and when I came to find her ,her beautiful face was covered up in blood dripping down my white sneakers .

I couldn't do anything Criza ,I just couldn't ! "Greg constantly passed his hands through his black hockey hair and buried his head in between his legs in tremendous pain .

"Shhh! it will be alright ! "Criza coaxed her brother .

At Kindred Hospital Ontario , Suzzy's parents and grandparents as well as her friends all waited in anticipation for the doctors to come and give them some news about Suzzy .

After a while ,the doctors were done operating on Suzzy and they could finally give whatever information they had about her to her family .

"Hi ,I'm Doctor Madeline Miller and I believe you are the young patient's family ."

"Yeah ! I'm her mother so tell me what the hell is going on with my daughter because I'm losing it in here already ."Eloise broke down into tears with her trembling voice .

Stephanie pulled her into her embrace to calm her down .

"Doctor , what's wrong with our daughter ?

What exactly is going on ? "Jakes asked , holding onto his strong heart firmly because of the pain he was going through .

"Your daughter sustained alot of injuries but now , she's okay . We've kept her in the isolation unit but .."The doctor hesitated a bit .

"But what doctor ? But what ! "Dora asked .

"We performed a spinal neck surgery on her since the soft tissues in her neck got broken .

But then ,your daughter has sustained some bruises ,sprains and muscle contusions .

As a result ,for the mean time ,in about two to three weeks ,she wouldn't be able to walk without a wheel chair ."The doctor broke the sad new to Suzzy's family .

"What nonsense ! what do you mean by she wouldn't be able to walk for about two to three weeks ,huh ? "Eloise almost beat up the doctor if Jakes had not held her firmly .

"Mrs . Riddles ,I know what you are going through right now and I also know that your daughter wouldn't like this news at all .

But then , there's still hope that she would walk again .The soft tissues in her legs have all been broken and fractured and it will take about two to three weeks to heal .

Until then ,she would have to use the wheel chair .

After two to three weeks later ,she can use the crutches to assist her in walking for the next thirteen days before her .

Mrs . Riddles ,your daughter will feel better after taking rest .

Also ,she will need ice compression and elevation of her legs to help her reduce the pain in her legs .

The physiotherapists will be there to assist her each day so I believe that your daughter will her well soon .

Excuse me .."The doctor left to check on her other patients .

"Don't worry Eloise ,our daughter will be fine .We will take her to the best physiotherapists and trust me , she will become the energetic little fun-filled princess and baby that she was ."Jakes assured Eloise wiping away off her tears .

"Don't worry aunty and uncle ,that little crazy bestie of ours will not accept defeat that easily .

I know she will get back on her feet and Sonya and I will help you in that ."Josette said while patting Sonya's back because she was still in tears and disturbed .

Though Sonya was jovial ,she was really soft at heart and each time her beloved one was in trouble ,she broke down like she was now because of Suzzy's state .

Eloise sat in between them and hugged them both tightly .

"You both are the best friends that my daughter has ever got ,thanks hun ,thanks alot ."Eloise hugged them both tightly .

Jakes walked into the chapel in the hospital and took a seat .He even lit a candle on the candle stand and went back to his seat .

"First of all ,I know I don't pray or even ask for a miracle to happen but that princess on the hospital bed does believe in you with all her heart.

Her mummy believes in you ,she even taught me about you .

If there's one thing I wouldn't ever want to lose then it's my family and i've seen my daughter in this state before .

I've seen her struggle for her life before and that's why I've come here dear God ,give her another chance to live her dreams and I promise you that I wouldn't ever do anything to hurt her again .

I will be her perfect father and I will make up for all those times ,I wasn't there for her .

I will replace her painful past with the enlightenment of each day and so please heal her .

Please God ! please heal her ! I can carry all her burdens on my shoulders but please in return ,give her another chance to live her dreams ,please dear God ! "Jakes shed tears while praying for Suzzy's recovery .

Renata and Inno walked in to sit by him in the chapel .

"You lit a candle for your daughter and I believe that she will pull through this also just like last time .

She's a fighter ,a real fighter so calm down man , everything will be okay ! "Inno cheered Jakes up .

"Don't worry Jakes , everything will be alright .

Inno and I rushed here the moment Joan informed us about Suzzy's accident and we didn't just come here to cheer you up ,we came here because we knew that she would pull through this as well .

We came here to support you and so I will lit for my dear Suzzy on behalf of my entire family and also pray for her speedy recovery ."Renata lit a candle up as well for Suzzy's recovery .
