Entrance Exam Begins!

"As Ryota slowly opens his eyes and sits up in bed, he feels a soft sensation on his right-hand side. "Hmm? What is this...soft sensation-" he pauses for a moment before reaching over to pull back the blanket and reveals to his surprise that he accidentally touched Synthia's chest while she was sleeping. He quickly let's go and slaps himself in embarrassment.

"Good thing she's not awake," he mutters to himself as he stands up from the bed and heads to the bathroom to wash his face. After a few minutes, he walks out of the bathroom and glances at the manga he had been drawing before going to bed last night.

"It's almost done," he thinks to himself as he grabs the manga panels and starts flipping through them to double-check.

"Mmmm~" Synthia, who has also just woken up, sits up on the bed and slowly stands up as she heads to the bathroom to wash her face.

"Good morning, Synthia," Ryota greets her as she emerges from the bathroom.

"Mmm... Morning Ryota-sama." She says it as if she is still sleepy then looks at the manga that Ryota's working on. "A Manga? Oh right. You're a mangaka."

"What? Don't tell me, You forgot that I'm a mangaka in my world."

Ryota then organizes the pages and swipes the air and puts the manga panels in the inventory slot.

"Ryota-sama, Do you still remember yesterday?"

"Yeah, The Special Guild Test. It is for those who wanted to become an adventurer and get straight into D-Rank."

"Correct. I haven't explained to you the ranking system in this world so I will explain it."

"Wait, Before that let's go to the adventurer's guild. We don't want to be late won't we?"

"That is true.." Synthia looks at Ryota's attire as he hasn't changed his clothes due to not having clothes.

"Ryota-sama, Please stand still." Ryota then looks at her and nods as he stood still. Synthia's hand gets bright and touches Ryota's clothes.

An exact copy of Ryota's jacket appears in the air and falls to Synthia's hand. "Here you go, Ryota-sama."

"Thank you!" He then walks to the bathroom and changes his clothes.

"Ryota-sama, After the Special Test shall we buy you some clothes?"

"Let's do that."

As Ryota and Synthia made their way to the hub of the inn, a friendly worker approached them with a smile.

"Oh, hello there! My name is Rita and I'm one of the new workers here. It's so nice to meet you both!"

"Oh, A new worker? I see. A pleasure to meet you too Rita, My name is Ryota and this is my maid Synthia. Synthia bows to Rita.

"Ahahaha~ You two have the weirdest attire that I have ever seen! Especially Miss Synthia's clothes!" Rita exclaimed, amused by their unique clothing choices.

"Oh? Are you saying a maid outfit isn't fashionable for girls to wear?" Ryota retorted, raising an eyebrow at Rita.

Rita giggled. "Well, it's not exactly my style, but I'm sure it looks great on you!"

Ryota smugs. "If you want I can also give you a ma-"

A sound smack can be heard as Synthia interrupts him, not letting him finish his sentence.

"What was that for?!" Ryota looks at Synthia, holding his head.

"Please don't spread your fetishes in this inn," Synthia scolds him.

Ryota pauses and gives her a blank expression. "Oh, you're right."

"But still," Ryota looks at Rita. "If you want to try out this gorgeous and cute outfit, feel free to come to me. Oh, and before I give you your maid outfit, you must tell me your three measurements, also known as the golden info-"

Another sound smack interrupts him before he can finish his sentence he turns around seeing Synthia's cold piercing eyes.

"...I'm sorry."

"Pfft, Ahahaha~ You two are interesting!"

"O-Oh.." Ryota clears his throat. "Anyway, we're going to the guild now!" Ryota then starts walking out of the inn followed by Synthia who bows to Rita before she left.

As they walk, Synthia wipes the air showing the information of ranks on being an adventurer "Ryota sama, Please take a look at this"

Rank System

SSS Rank: The highest rank in the adventurer guild, reserved for only the most powerful and accomplished adventurers. SSS-ranked adventurers are legendary figures, feared and respected by all who know of them.

SS Rank: The second-highest rank in the adventurer guild. SS-ranked adventurers are also incredibly powerful and respected, and are often called upon to undertake the most dangerous and difficult missions.

S Rank: The third-highest rank in the adventurer guild. S-ranked adventurers are highly skilled and experienced, and are trusted with important missions and assignments.

A Rank: The fourth-highest rank in the adventurer guild. A-ranked adventurers are skilled and reliable, and are often called upon to take on challenging missions.

B Rank: The fifth-highest rank in the adventurer guild. B-ranked adventurers are competent and dependable, and are trusted to take on missions of moderate difficulty.

C Rank: The sixth-highest rank in the adventurer guild. C-ranked adventurers are still relatively new to the guild and may lack experience, but they have shown promise and potential.

D Rank: The second-lowest rank in the adventurer guild. D-ranked adventurers are inexperienced and may not yet have proven themselves, but they are still considered members of the guild.

E Rank: The lowest rank in the adventurer guild. E-ranked adventurers are new recruits who have not yet completed any missions or proven themselves in any significant way.

"Ohhh~ By the way. Are we on E-Rank?" Ryota looks at her as Synthia nods at him. "That's right. We're still unofficially registered as adventurers"

"Hmmm."

As they entered the adventurer's guild, they were greeted by a bustling crowd of people. The air was filled with the sound of chatter and the clinking of glasses. Some adventurers were sitting at tables, discussing their plans for the special exam. Others were gathered around the quest board, scanning the listings for their next job.

Then a man with a masculine body and a scar on his face approached Ryota and Synthia but he is only looking at Synthia. "Oh? I haven't seen your face before.. Tell me are you new here? If so why don't you join our party!" The man only looks at Synthia as he is interested in her body.

Ryota steps in front of Synthia as he interferes with the man's offer.

"Uhm, You're making her uncomfortable... Can you not talk to her?" Synthia's eyes widen as it is unusual for Ryota to step in as he hates being the center of attention. The man notices him and laughed.

"Guys! Look at this boy, It seems he doesn't know our rules!" The man laughs at Ryota.

"Boss! Beat him up!" "Make sure to teach him a lesson!" "Show him who is the boss!" A party of 10 encourages the man. "While your at it make sure to take the girl with you!"

As Ryota hears that he instantly looks at the guy who said that with a bloodlust gaze. "What did you.. just say?"

Ryota's bloodlust gaze makes the man and his party take a step back, surprised at the sudden change in his demeanor.

"Quiet down, everyone!" A man appears on the balcony overlooking the guild's lobby, revealing himself as the Guildmaster who hosted the special entrance exam.

"I'm pleased to announce that the entrance exam will begin today! You'll all will be teleported randomly inside the Mysticwood Forest. To pass the exam, you have three options:

- Obtain an artifact from the dungeon.

- Eliminate your fellow contestants

- Survive for 14 days.

If you succeed, you'll be rewarded with 10 gold, 100 silver, and 500 copper, as well as a promotion within the guild. There are no rules in this exam, but if you die, you'll be teleported back here."

The adventurers cheer and shout in excitement, but the man who tried to invite Synthia gives Ryota a cold and resentful glare. 'Tch, I will target you first.. and make sure to remember my face,' the man mumbles to himself.

Ryota looks at Synthia, and they both nod to each other. Then, a bright light surrounds the adventurers who will be participating in this event.

And thus, the special entrance exam finally begins.
