Nindy swirled the little straw in her cocktail, the clinking of ice cubes punctuating her easy conversation with the bartender. She wasn't particularly in a rush tonight. After all, nothing cured boredom quite like a few drinks and some lighthearted people-watching.

"So, what's the most ridiculous drink order you've gotten here?" Nindy asked, propping her chin in her hand.

The bartender smirked, wiping down the counter with a rag. "A 'surprise me' followed by 'I better like it.' If you don't want to end up drinking ketchup, don't test me."

Nindy let out a soft laugh, about to sip her drink when she noticed the bartender's face shift. His smirk vanished like he'd just seen a ghost or, in this case, someone far worse. He muttered under his breath with a dramatic sigh.

"Here comes trouble."

Nindy raised an eyebrow. "Trouble?"
