The great responsibility

In the last chapter:

"May we come in chief?"

"Yes".

:Present time:

"Good evening,chief."Mirai humbly greeted.

"Good evening,everyone",the chief greeted them back.

"I hope the four of you are aware of the upcoming project",said the chief.

"Yes,chief."Kyo replied in a serious tone.

"This is a very big budget project",the chief said in monotone.

"We are aware of that chief,"Remi,officially known as Sakura replied.

"This is a very important project,so the authority decided to not to entrust the whole project to a certain worker.Rather,we decided that we would form a team of four.The most capable four employees were chosen from this branch.

They knew where this was going.It was just that they were not sure if they should happy or tensed to be entrusted with such a great responsibility.

"Sales manager Mirai Takasaki san,Manager Kyo Matsushi kun,Human Resource Manager Sakura Takao san and Chief Information officer Hitoshi Hanao kun,the four of you are chosen.I hope you will carry out your duties perfectly".The chief said while looking at four of them.

"Yes,chief."The three of them said with passion.Hitoshi preferred his usual voice.

"And,the team will be leaded by the CIO of this company,Hanao kun."

Hitoshi looked at the chief with a bit uneasiness.

"Chief,I think the others are more capable than me in terms of leading a team",he said without looking at chief.

"Hanao kun,the authority elected you as the leader after judging your capabilities and you are not the CIO for nothing."The chief with a lighter yet stern voice.

Hitoshi couldn't oppose the decision of the authority despite his high position.

"Yes chief."He said normally.

"We have a meeting regarding this project tomorrow,the four of you are requested to join.Matsushi kun,you need to make a report on the budget planning."The chief commanded.

"Yes chief."Kyo replied.

"The four of you can take your leave now."The chief finally finished discussing the matter.

"Thank you and good evening,chief."Sakura humbly bade their goodbyes.

After coming out of the cabin,the four of them started leaving the building."I think we can work this out with cooperation,hard work and punctuality."Said Kyo,trying to assure his two best friends.

"You are right,we can't disappoint the chief."Mirai replied.

"Well,we better get going,we have a busy schedule tomorrow."Said Remi.

They headed back home,without noticing the tensed expression of Hitoshi."Now what?"Hitoshi thought to himself while driving back home.

Hitoshi was sitting in his room,thinking about how he was going to deal with the three of them.He talked with them in office before.But,that was regarding work.This time he will have to put extra effort in hiding some important things.

"If only I could break that damn curse!",he thought to himself.

Amidst of all this pressure,he felt thirsty,really thirsty.He took deep breaths to calm himself down.

"I don't need to drink today,I finished ten bodies yesterday."He assured himself.

After drinking a glass of ice cold water,he went to bed planning his schedule for tomorrow in his head.

"I can't afford to let others know,it's too risky.I must remember my responsibility as the prince."He drifted to sleep while thinking that.
