“We did get this wired so that it can be heard in our room, the great room and Hannah’s room, right?” Jack was nervous. It was his very first experience with a baby, never mind a newborn and he was afraid he was going to fuck it up.

“Calm down, caro. This isn’t rocket science. At this age all you have to know is to keep one end clean and dry and the other end full of formula, unless she gets sick, it’s that simple.”

“We have to make sure we all wash and sanitize our hands frequently. I don’t know how I’d cope if she got really sick. The fact that we don’t know Meredith’s vaccination history disturbs me. I’ve read about the recent outbreaks of the measles and it’s very contagious. Some people don’t get their children vaccinated and put little ones like Bella at risk.”

“You’ve been reading Bobby’s baby magazine?” Carlo teased.
