Chapter 3: The Spirit Vine

Veronica woke up from her dreams. It was quite pleasant. She wanted to make this dream a reality and had to work hard to gather her strength.

After freshening up and having her breakfast, she checked her communicator and saw the message of extra 20,000 union coins in her bank account and a sweet message from Suzy asking her to meet after joining the 3110 Beastmaster Academy.

Veronica ransacked every park that she could reach and had these kinds of climbers that were beneficial for wooden vine.

After 7 days and 82 parks, Veronica was satisfied to see the status bar of the wooden wine, oh no, it was now called spirit vine.

In the book it was written that more resources during the initial stage of the Beasts was good for final evolution.

She used the entire 20000 union coins and purchased dead and living devouring insects, 15000 union currency for dead and the remaining 5000 for the living insects.

Since the quantity of resources can make up for the flaw of evolution then it does not matter whether the resources are used as living or dead.

It was enough for the spirit vine.

The leaves of spirit vine curled up showing her shyness towards the compliment. She liked being helpful to the owner.

Veronica planted the spirit vine plant in the lawn and let it absorb the sunlight to complete the natural process of photosynthesis.

Meanwhile she was surfing the starnet to find out some means to earn money. She could earn some pocket money by doing some small work. After all, she has one more plant to care for.

Devouring insects are the most common type of alien beast in Interstellar and are not chosen as beast pets because of their low ability but there the devouring ability that can assimilate anything is good. It was the reason that made Veronica choose this type of beast to evolve the spirit vine.

This was still a spirit vine, there was not any change in the species but it had the perfect talent of Devouring insects. The remaining problem about combat ability has been solved by these abilities.

After all, the level 1 beast only had two types of skills and her pet beast had seven types. It was a good bargain.

Her talent ability was outstanding, it made her cautious revealing too much early would always bring trouble. She needs to play slowly. There was no need to attract the wind.

Veronica decided to add the points to condensation and devouring skills to enhance these abilities.

Condensation is the skill that would provide low level wooden essence that can be sold in the market for money.

Enhancing the devouring skill would bring great benefit to the spirit vine itself.

These two skills will solve her major problems that were troubling her.
