"Oh.. her name is.. Ryan.. Ryan Wilder". Mary said smiling.

"Ryan Wilder..hmm.. well I can't wait to meet her.. she sounds like fun"Kate said.

"I know right..I will introduce you to her soon, she is not around at the moment.. she and her new mom is looking for a place to rent..."Mary said.

"Her new mom?!"Kate asked.

"Oh .. she is an orphan, she has been in and out of foster homes and on the streets, this is the first time anyone cares enough to adopt her.."Mary answered.

"And you know this because?.."Kate slowly ask.

"She told me, well I kinda drilled her for answers when I saw multiple fading marks on her body.."she replied.

"Hmm.saw...i didn't know you guys were in that stage already..!!"Kate said.

"No..w... what a..are you implying...she got injured... and I was treating her... we've done nothing beyond kissing...!!"Mary said blushing, Kate laughed at her finding joy at that.

They both had fun until midnight, well Mary had fun, dancing and drinking with the other patrons in the bar, by the time they were ready to leave, she was dead drunk, Kate couldn't take her with her bike cuz she's a little bit tipsy herself, having no alternative she decided to call Luke, but it seems luck was not on her side since his phone was switched off, causing her bad luck she decided to call Sophie.

"Hello?!!"a voice said on the other end.

"Hey Sophie, hmm.., well I need your help, you see Mary is passed out drunk and I am a little bit tipsy, I don't know if you can send some of our Fathers agents to pick her up.. I won't be able to do that..."Kate said.

There was silence on the other end.

"Okay, tell me where am coming..."Sophie replied.

"Umm, someplace called the Hobbit something.."Kate said looking up at the sign outside.

"Give me fifteen minutes I will be there.."she hangs up.

Kate looks around her, the reason she didn't call a Uber driver to pick Mary up was that this was Gotham, you can't trust anyone.

In a few minutes she saw a crow SUV coming close to her, once the car stopped Sophie got down.

"Hey.. thanks...I didn't know who else to call, hope I didn't disturb you?"Kate said.

"No...,I wasn't asleep, let's take her inside the car"Sophie replied,they both put Mary at the back seat."I don't recommend drinking till it's late"Sophie said.

"Maybe next time, I just wanted to spend a little time with my sister, hope your husband won't get angry at you for leaving at this time?!"Kate asked.

"No,he was already asleep when I left, besides I was going to pick up my boss daughter I don't think there was anything wrong with that"she replied,she was about to open the car door.

"If I knew you were getting married I would have come home sooner!"Kate said.

"I didn't see you as a wedding kind of person"Sophie said.

"Not to go..to stop it..."Kate said, she knew what she was saying but her inhibitions were off, she couldn't stop herself.

"Kate I don't think we could have ended up together, we might have been posted in different places ,who knows our feelings might have changed.."Sophie said.

"No.. things could not have been different... and I just want to say... I love you Sophie... And I love the fact that you are loving Tyler... I love your love..."Kate kept saying, Sophie smiles knowing kate was drunk.

"Kate just stop rambling and go home, I'll call you so stay safe"she said, she got inside the car and drove away taking Mary with her. Kate seeing she was once alone again got on a bike and drove to the batcave with extreme difficulty, thank goodness there was no cop.

"Good morning Gotham, it's your girl Vespar fairchild here, it seems the rate of crimes have been reduced since our BATWOMAN asskicking scenario, and yes we are officially calling her BATWOMAN, last night was peaceful,peaceful in the sense that no major crime was committed, but if this continues we might never see the bat again, talk to me Gotham".

"Isn't that great, I mean if the crime rate were reduced won't everyone be happy and safe?!"Luke said.

He was inside the bat cave with Kate, they were both going through their weaponry.

"So how was last night?"Luke asked.

"We both had fun, beside did you know Mary was gay?!, I know I wasn't a good sister in the last timeline but did she ever like say anything to you?!". Kate asked.

"No...we weren't that close,But is that like a problem?"Luke asked.

"No, I mean I know a lot of things that is going to happen that I can change but I never knew anything about her beside that she was my step sister and my sister killed her mother.. what if Mary was gay in that timeline and they kindof like broke up, I want able to prevent it now since I didn't know what happened then.."Kate said.

"Well if you want my opinion just see as it goes, I mean it is better now since you both are trying to fix your relationship.."says Luke,he notices Kate fumbling with the rebreater.

"Anything else on your mind?!"he asked.

"Hmm..., I kinda did something dumb yesterday". she replied.

"Good dumb or bad dumb?"Luke asked.

"Um... Sophie...hmm... She knows I still love her"she answered.

"Well that wasn't a secret"Luke said.

"No.. I mean I told her right to her face I love her, that I'm still in love with her!!"she said.

"When And why on earth would you do that!!?"Luke asked.

"Your phone was switched off!!,I was drunk and maybe a little bit pissed, did you know she got together with Tyler three months after we broke up?!! Three months!!"she said sadly.

"Didn't you try to do the same!?"Luke asked.

"What did you mean?"she asked.

"With Julia, I mean you got together with Julia just so you get over Sophie, and if you haven't found that she was lying to you, you might still be together, maybe that was what Sophie was trying to do "Luke answered.

"Trying to get over me?, that I understand but with Tyler!!?"she said.

"Well maybe you are right ,she not ready to come out yet, give her time...., and beside why are we even discussing about your love life.... I thought we were discussing how much fun you had last night "Luke said.

"Now speaking of fun, I'm still going to open the gay bar I did last timeline.. could you check the location again maybe even start the Gotham real estate development plan now"she said.

"I thought you would never asked"Luke said, he pulled out his phone and dial a number"would you please send me the file name KANE PROJECT, bring it upstairs to the office, thanks Kyle"he hangs up "I also took the privilege to get you your old apartment ,I mean you can't keep living in the batcave, if you one day ever succeeded in turning Alice to beth you will need somewhere to live, both of you will"he said.

Kate smiles and said nothing, she knows luke got her back, her phone rang but she cut the call and sighs, Sophie has been bombarding her with calls and texts, she wasn't in the mood to answer any.

"I will go see what Alice would like for lunch"she said going to her sister room, last night when she got back Alice was already asleep, they didn't share any word early this morning, she thinks Alice is mad at her, she knows what to do to cheer her up.

"Want to play some video games I'll teach you the double punch combo"she said as soon as she walked in. Alice was sitting down on her bed legs crossed typing away on a laptop, yes laptop, she might have held her sister captive but that didn't mean she was a prisoner more like a psychiatric patient.

Alice looked up from the laptop and looks at her, saying she wasn't jealous would be an understatement a part of her wants to be with Kate, she never liked sharing at things and Kate was her sister no one else was,'maybe if I show some signs of progress she might want to spend some more time with me'she thought, sitting sideways she looks at Kate "what is the double punch combo?"she asked.

"Hold on I will show you..."Kate said bring out an Xbox set from God knows where, setting it up she turns to Alice "besides what would you like for lunch?"she asked.

"Anything!!"Alice replied, she took one of the game pad and face the screen,"come on let's start then we'll find out if I'm the queen of games". she replied.

"Oh..oh.. GAME ON"Kate said, she was going to have a lot of fun.
