Chapter 36: Late To School

The nurse had informed them that Yuki was asleep and they could come and get him after school hours.

After the school hours were over, Yukari and the others went to get Yuki but he wasn't in the room.

"Where is he?" Yukari asked the nurse.

"I don't know, he was just here." She spoke while trying to think of where he could have gone.

"I think I know where he went." Sophia spoke.

They all took a taxi to Sophia's house. Derek and Tamiko were amazed by how big it was.

They all walked into the garden and saw Yuki standing across Sophia's dad. Yuki was in a fighting stance.

"What's going on?" Tamiko asked.

"Yuki asked my father to train him but my dad would only train him if Yuki could land a blow on him. Yuki has tried numerous times in the past but couldn't hit him." Sophia explained.

Yukari, Tamiko and Derek stood by the side and watched.

Yuki dashed towards Metal guard and threw a punch at his face. Metal guard leaned to the right dodging Yuki's punch.

'His punch is faster than before, could it mean that he wasn't fighting seriously before?' Metal guard thought.

Yuki didn't waste any time in throwing another punch at him. Metal guard jumped backwards avoiding the attack. Immediately he landed an ice spike sprouted out of the ground, it was stabbing towards his chest. He jumped to the side and before he could land another spike sprouted out of the ground and stabbed towards him, he stepped on the spike and jumped backwards. He raised his head in order to look at Yuki but what covered a fist covered his sight, Yuki had thrown another punch at him. He quickly squatted avoiding the punch, he proceeded to swiftly punched Yuki's stomach.

"Argh." Yuki grunted and didn't step backwards, instead he tried to kick Metal guards face. But the attack was once again avoided.

Metal guard didn't want this fight to go on any longer, he jumped into the air landed behind Yuki. Yuki didn't have any time to react. Metal guard raised his right hand and brought it in a chop manner, the chop hit Yuki's neck and he passed out. Yuki's unconscious body was falling towards the ground.

Yuki's vision was slowly fading away.

'He did it again.' Yuki thought. 'I don't have much time left, I need to get stronger!'

Yuki's body was about to hit the ground when he twisted his body landed on his feet.

'Huh? He's still awake?' Metal guard questioned in his mind.

Yukari, Tamiko, Sophia and Derek were shocked. They all stared at Yuki in amazement. They were all aware of the power that Metal guard had, but Yuki was able to take a hit without passing out.

'No matter what. I will become the strongest.' Yuki yelled in his mind.

Yuki stared at Metal guard, a small cold fog could be seen coming out of Yuki's mouth when he breathed out. Yuki took a fighting stance, his legs were spread apart and his hands took the form of fists.

Yuki dashed towards Metal guard and threw a punch at his face. Metal guard easily dodged the punch and countered by punching Yuki's face.

Yuki answered by attempting to kick metal guard in the gut. But Yuki's attack was easily dodged, metal guard once again punched Yuki in the face.

He kept on raining punches on Yuki's face until it was bloody. Although metal guard didn't use his full strength when fighting Yuki, but his punches still  carried alot of force.

Yuki and metal guard stood a couple of meters away from each other. Yuki's face was  very bloody. Yuki wiped his face with his hands and stared at Metal guard intensely.

Yuki took a deep breath and pointed two fingers on his left hand at metal guard.

"What's this? A special move?" Metal guard asked with a mocking smile on his face.

Yukari stared at Yuki and remembered that Yuki always used to practice this move.

A bow made out of ice appeared infront of his fingers. The bow was floating and it was about the inches away from his pointed fingers. The bow had no string on it.

Yuki moved his other hand as if he was an acher preparing to fire an arrow. Immediately after Yuki made this movement an arrow made out of ice appeared next to the bow, it was already in the firing position.

Yuki poured all his ki into this attack and fired the arrow.

Th ice arrow traveled at full speed towards metal guard, it was so fast the no one except metal guard could follow it's movement. The arrow was about to hit metal guard's chest when he slapped with the back of his hand, he completely changed the course of the arrow with just one hit. The arrow hit a tree in the garden.

BOOM!

The moment the arrow hit the tree there was an icy explosion that spread throughout the entire garden. A cold fog now covered the entire garden, everyone except metal guard was shocked by the amount of ki Yuki still had. They all thought his body couldn't produce enough ki for such an attack.

The fog slowly faded away and guard looked at the tree the arrow had hit. It had been destroyed only pieces of wood that scattered around the garden remained.

'Such a powerful attack. Even though his body can't produce that much ki he still manages to make good use of the little he has.' Metal guard thought to himself.

The fog had completely cleared and everyone now had their eyes on Yuki. He was kneeling on the ground.

Yuki was breathing heavily, he was extremely tired. He knew that if he used his kizo even a bit he would pass out. His vision was blurred as he stared at the ground.

Metal guard began walking towards Yuki who was kneeling with his head hung low. He stopped infront of Yuki and looked down at him.

"Kinatarou-kun, you still haven't hit me yet." Metal guard spoke.

"I will hit you." Yuki spoke in a tired tone. "Just let me catch my breath."

"You showed that you have incredible will, that means you can take the training I'll offer to you."Metal spoke while walking away.

"Training is to take place everyday at three thirty." Metal guard spoke before walking into his home.

Yuki was totally overjoyed, he was incredibly happy but he couldn't show any expression on his face because of how tired he was.

Yukari, Sophia, Tamiko and Derek all rushed towards Yuki. They all sat down on the ground around him.

"What are you guys doing? Help me up before I pass out." Yuki looked at them and instructed.

"Ohh, sorry." Yukari and Derek helped Yuki stand.

The next morning.

It was already 9:55am but Yuki was still asleep, he was very late for school. His eyes slowly opened and he got up from his bed. He still looked tired.

Yuki didn't think about anything as he was too tired to think. He just walked to the kitchen and prepared a cup of coffee. He stood in the living room staring directly at the clock. He didn't know what the purpose of the clock was.

Normally whenever you woke up from a long nap his brain would take five to twenty minutes to turn on. So he had absolutely no idea what a clock was.

Ding!

That was the sound of Yuki's brain turning on.

"Holy!" Yuki exclaimed in panick as he jumped into the bathroom. He quickly showered and rushed to school.

'I wonder how I got ready so fast, it didn't even take me up to three minutes to get ready.' Yuki thought as he ran to school.

He rushed into the classroom and found Taki-sensei teaching the class. Everyone looked directly at Yuki, he looked around and found Yukari in her seat.

'Why didn't she wake me up?' That was the first thought that popped into Yuki's mind.

"Why are you late?" Taki-sensei asked Yuki.

"I know this gonna be a stupid answer but it's the truth. Yesterday I had a fight with a martial arts master just so he could train me." Yuki had said nothing but the truth.

The entire class burst into laughter after hearing Yuki's response.

"Hahaha, dude! That was a lame excuse!"

"Haha! How can you fight a master with how weak you are?!"

Taki-sensei stared judgingly at Yuki.

"Kinatarou-kun, tell me the truth." Taki-sensei said as stepped closer to Yuki.

"Fine, I stayed up all night playing call of duty." Yuki said as he smiled wryly.

"Thank you for telling the truth." Taki-sensei said and pointed at the door. "Now go and wait for me in my office."

"Yes Taki-sensei." Yuki spoke in a downcast tone.

Yuki walked out of the classroom and after a few seconds walked back in.

"Why are you here again?" Taki-sensei asked.

"I was on my way to your office when I realized that I don't know where your office is." Yuki scratched the side of his eyebrow as he spoke.

"Down the hall, second door to your left." Taki-sensei gave him the directions.

"Okay, thank you." Yuki waved and went straight to her office.
