Sheng Liena's face reddened from the shame she felt from being caught by a person she would never have wanted to be seen by, who surprisingly stood up for her when no one at the restaurant did, in as much as she wanted to jump for joy by the chivalry shown by Hong Yongrui. The little pride she had left made it difficult for her to give in to her impulses.
Sheng Liena called out in surprise at the man that belittled her during the Hong family dinner that her father had practically force her to attend. Although she felt elated that he lied to her date in order to save what was left of her dignity, but a part of her was still bitter about the Hong family dinner.
